I do like this flashlight mount a lot. I bought both the Monstrum mount and the ALONEFIRE mount. They both were low priced and good quality. My favorite would have to be the ALONEFIRE because I thought the quick detach was better than the screw of the Monstrum. Also this one came with the adapters that allowed smaller flashlights to be used. I recommend both.

For the money I have no complaints, a little rework and this will be excellent for the purpose I got it for. The roll pin falls out, and that causes the clamping mechanism to explode. Easy fix, stays together under tension anyway. Other than that the parts are clean and it works. A cheap addition to an even cheaper flashlight for a shotgun that wont serve a critical purpose.

I purchased this to mount a flashlight on my pistol for low light plate shoot. This is not a good fit for a pistol because of the awkward angle that the light ends up mounted on a pistol but it does a great job for plate shoot competitions. However, I can see this being a permanent addition to a rifle and that works nicely. The mount is very light and it is made with good quality. I have bought both the quick release and the screw version and both stay on the pistol without a problem but I suggest that once you attach the quick release version to give the hex screw a couple of turns so it will not come off during recoil.The problem I faced is with the included plastic inserts that go between the flashlight and the ring in order to make a better fit. Because they are plastic, you cannot really put much tension on them and If you do not put the screws tight the flashlight will just fly off after a few recoil shock waves (as it happened to me) and you cannot tighten the screws too much because I had one of the ring screws go through the aluminum hole. I had no problem getting a replacement via the Amazon returns within 2 days. To remedy this issue, I removed the plastic inserts altogether and I used "Polyurethane Open Cell Foam" padding around the flashlight where the ring comes in contact with it. This worked great, the flashlight stayed in place and none of the screws got loose during recoil after about 150 rounds of factory 9mm ammo.

Easy to install and attach your flashlight on your shotgun. Sturdy and light weight. I attached it to my Maverick 88 12 gauge. I use a small piece of bicycle tape to fill in the gap since the mount didn't fit the diameter of my particular flashlight. Now it's tight and secure. It is a great safety feature so you can identify your target and prevent causing a tragedy. I am buying another one for my other shotgun.

Excellent flashlight rail mount. Sturdy and solid. Not the highest quality construction, but for the price it is unbeatable. The quick release is SO convenient. I purchased a couple and attached them to different flashlights so I can change them our in seconds.One thing to note, I assumed the insert was rubber so that it would grip the flashlight better. It is not rubber, it's plastic. It still ended up working is was just different than what I thought it would be.Very happy.
