Very compact and powerful SFF PC
X300 Deskmini is ideal for compact and powerful PC build. It is fully compatible with Zen+ and Zen2 AMD APUs.I configured my X300 deskmini with Ryzen 7 4750G CPU, Crucial 16GBX2 3200MHz SODIMM Memory, 2X500GB KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS G2 M.2 NVME SSD and 2X1TB Crucial MX500 SATA SSD.You can update the original cooler to Noctua NH-L9a-AM4, which offers a better cooling efficiency and it is much more silent (Idle 30~40 degree Celsius, furmark <90 degree Celsius).Additional upgrade for this product is wireless, such as Intel AX200 Wifi6+Bluetooth.The front pannel has a mic and a headphone jack socket. The headphone jack socket is also compatible with headphones with built-in mics. The only limitation of this product is IO ports. It only has 1 USB2 port, 2 USB3 typeA 5Gbps ports and 1 USB3 typeC 5Gbps port. So if you have to connect a lots of external devices or hard drives, it might not be an ideal choice. Adding the side 2-USB ports is possible but the cable management will become much more complicated, and the cable of side USB is incompatible with heatsink over the M.2 SSD.Please note that the console come with old version of BIOS, so you have to manually download the latest BIOS and update it.

Tiny footprint, Big performance
A tiny format I've not seen since the early 2000's "shuttle" cases that looked like a micro system Hi-Fi from back then. I built it with a Ryzen 5600G APU, 16GB of Samsung (2 X 8GB) and a 500GB WD Blue M2 drive. So quiet with Wraith stealth cooler modded to fit case I was glad I done this, I'm sure the included fan would be fine with low power consumption APUs but with gaming being possible on the newer 5xxx series APUs I prefered to use the Ryzen cooler. In some earlier reviews I saw the people saying they had to update the BIOS for the 5xxx series APUs to be recognised, All I can say is I never had this problem so hopefully it's because their supplying newer stock that has a later BIOS on them.

Great case / system
Purchased for limited space, initial plan was to use a Ryzen 5600G, bios would not accept, so running a Ryzen 3400G, have tried to to update the bios to rev P1.70, no joy to date.

Excellent mini pc
Great mini pc with plenty of room for storage. Purchased for use with amd 5700g. Standard amd heat sink just fits if you remove the plastic shroud from it, but I'd recommend a low profile fan. A word to the wise - Motherboard bios required updating with a previous generation amd apu before it would see the 5700g. Fortunately I had access to one. If you don't amd offer a service where they will loan you one for this task. Now it's all up and running it is a mini power house easily as good as an i9 9900k for desktop tasks with the bonus of 1080p 60fps gaming all day long.

Careful using a new G series APU with this unit
Let me start saying this is a great combo with fantastic storage options I pared this with a 5600g Apu and ran into problems as the BIOS was not upgraded to recognise the new CPU resulting in buying a second-hand CPU to allow me to flash the BIOS. So to save the greif make sure it ships with the latest bios that supports your CPU!

Great product, no import duties to UK
Great product as others have said. Just wanted to write a review to let people know that in early August my x300 came with P1.40 bios.I used an AMD 200GE and updated the bios to P1.70, will need this bios for upcoming 5000 series G/GE apus.Amd are supposed to make these available to public this year.

Portable and cost-effective
My portable workstation! X300 and Ryzen APU enable to build your cost/effective system. I saved 1/3 of my budget to build mobile WS at the same tech spec.
