Super Glue - Black - Permanent Reinforced Polyester Fiberglass Patch

I used it to repair a beloved 2-piece fishing pole that had a crack in the bottom half. This patch is kind of thick (3/16) but it was easy to apply. I have caught several very large fish on this pole since and it has held up well. The patch accepts paint well and I was able to paint it gloss black to camouflage it a bit.

I used this product to repair a suitcase that was damaged by airport handling. I found replacement wheels, but the sockets were ripped, leaving nothing to show into. Once applied I was able to cut and mold the way I needed for the hole where the wheel needed to go, and are 30min in the sun it was hard as a rock. It's sandable and paintable. 3 things I will warn you, 1. DO NOT remove from packaging until you are ready to use it. Any little UV will start the curing process even from a window. 2. The smell is awful until it is fully cured. 3. Follow instructions to the T for best results.

Bought product to repair screw holes in corrugated fiber glass roofing panels, working on smooth side of the panels. Did not open package until right before trying to apply to panels, which I had thoroughly cleaned and rough sanded per package instructions. When I cut small patches from the 3"x6" piece of patch material the white backing material fell off almost all of the small patches before I could get them on to the roofing panel, and I was cutting them as I used them at the roof panel - not ahead of time. They would not stick. The backing material stayed on only about a dozen small patches until I could get them to the roof panels. Most of them stuck. Don't yet know if they will hold. I got so fed up with this product that I quit trying. Ended up with 8 out of 36 small patches sticking, less than 25% (so far). Don't know if this is a poor product or if it had exceeded shelf life. Whichever. No way would I recommend, or buy again.

I tried to use this as a fiber glass repair for my tub that had a crack in it. It is thick and not easy to sand papaer down. I had to remove it and buy a different product that was liquid based. May be my fault more than the product so I gave it 3 stars for the difficulty I had sand papering it.

Simple as can be. Used to patch crack in Hayward pool filter dome. Prepared the crack area and sanded roughly. Applied patch, then in direct sun for a while. Perfect patch for a 4" crack.

Did a great job patching the hole in my tub. It is a very sturdy patch. Make sure to sand and then clean the area first. Use the sun or a heat lamp and let it cool off. I would buy this again.

I've used this product before but this arrived already dried out - useless now.
