This is a real scientific device more than sufficient for most small labs or class rooms. You will not need any more controls and features. The plate has 250 watts of power for heating and is effective, The spinner and the built it magnet are properly designed and powerful. It meets or exceeds all the claims made by the manufacturer, unlike others on the market. Well-built device, and I would recommend it.

Don't get me wrong, the temperature control on this thing is not very accurate. But for the money you can't go wrong with this device it does have low heat all the way up through high heat the knob is just not in a well-placed position

Arrived DOA, upon opening I found one side of the 110v input had not been soldered on. The workmanship is very poor. I soldered the lead to the input transformer and the unit then functioned as expected.

Fails to function correctly

Came missing the connecting rod for the threaded piece on the right, despite this, great value for your money.

I liked it exactly whats in the description.

Very nice unit has variable temperature control

The product works as suggested but was packed so poorly that the Styrofoam had been broken to bits and charged with static electricity. So when I opened the box, bits of the packing material went everywhere and clung to where ever it landed. Is that being petty?
