Let's Make Dumplings!: A Comic Book Cookbook

I enjoy the style of the book. To date I have consumed frozen dumplings but never ventured into making them. The presentation of techniques is solid and easy to follow. The recipes are good. Very pleased with this purchase, as is the friend who received the extra book.

I fell in love with the first publication "Let's Make Ramen" from the same two authors. This book is just as lovely and just as inviting! I made so many of the recipes! I feel that some of the recipes may need adjustment in the ginger/garlic/onion department (especially ginger as it's just listed in inches but as you know, ginger roots come in all sizes). I've been really enjoying each page though, and each time I make a new batch, it gives me confidence in the next one! I'm hoping the next book is "Let's Make Egg Rolls" :) Check this book out, it's really fun and the recipes are really simple!

I LOVE this book! Not only are the illustrations gorgeous, and the recipes delicious- but the illustrations do a nice job of highlighting what various steps look like. This was so helpful as I got engrossed in making dumplings! Another highlight of the book is the explanation of various dumplings and styles, as well as a helpful glossary of the ingredients needed for each dish. This book is detailed and super easy to navigate! A great present for dumpling lovers everywhere!

A fun book to read and make some good food.

Great book to make dumplings with grandkids. Easy to follow, fairly simple ingredients (those that are more exotic, are inexpensive). Highly recommended

I loved this book so much I bought their other book as well for how to make Ramen! They are fun and easy to read, great recipes and makes something that seems difficult to make not so scary! I found a great maker for the dowels to help roll out the doughs, now I’m on a roll! 😅

This book is just so much fun! I’ve been going on a bread reading binge lately. I’ve read bread, builders, bread science and flour water salt yeast and the book salt. This was such a fun book to bring back the fun and just realize that’s what baking is about! Have fun and get curious. There’s a lot of different ways you can slice bread and make it too. I found things that I’ve learned along the way of my bread journey in this book. I’ve bought a few of these books for my friends interested in bread making. I think this is a really fun starter book and also a book for people that are curious. For the people that are bashing this book or giving it a weird review just please. Comic books for cooking are just pure genius

More than recipes, the story in the book is written. It is a useless book.

Easy to read,easy to understand. Easy to make. Really good place to start your dumpling journey.

Love this cook. The art style is fun and the instructions are clean and easy to follow. I've have made a couple of dumplings from the book know it even tell you how to freeze them as they seem to be bulk recipes. You will been a lot of special ingredients, but most can be found in supermarkets these days

Excellent livre de recettes. Toutes les étapes des recettes sont détaillées, du début à la fin, image par image. Ce sont toutes des images dessinées, style « bande dessinée ». Il est donc très simple de suivre toutes les étapes. On retrouve une grande quantité de recettes diverses. Personnellement j’aurais préféré avoir une « vrai image » à la fin de chaque recette, afin de mieux voir l’assiette final, plutôt que d’avoir un « dessin » de l’assiette… mais c’est un choix personnel! Pour le reste, c’est un beau livre, il y a des recettes de toutes sortes, et toutes les étapes sont très simple à suivre. Très satisfaite.

Viele sind bestimmt der Meinung, dass das Konzept mit den Comic Zeichnungen die Rezepte nur für Kinder geeignet machen und das kann ich definitiv wieder legen! ob Anfänger in der Küche oder erfahrene Köche, ob man mit Kindern kochen möchte oder mit Freunden oder einfach für sich selbst. Die sehr detaillierten Schritt für Schritt mit Bildern Erklärungen sorgen dafür, dass jeder die Rezepte nachkochen kann egal, ob er mit Dumpings oder kochen generell Erfahrung hat. Die Vielfalt an Rezepten und die Beschreibung der Techniken sind aber auch für erfahrene Köche Eine gute Investition. Wenn man Dumplings mag, kann man so wie auch im Buch empfohlen immer mal wieder von einem Rezept viele machen Sie lassen sich sehr gut einfrieren und jederzeit wenn man Lust drauf hat oder keine Zeit hat schnell aus dem Gefrierfach zubereiten. Die Rezepte sind sehr gut erklärt und sowohl dank der Beschreibung als auch dank der Comic Bilder gut nachzuvollziehen selbst wenn man keine Erfahrung Mit Teigtaschen hat. Meine klare Empfehlung für jeden, der es gerne ausprobieren, oder lernen möchte. Ich habe schon ein paar Rezepte daraus ausprobiert und sie haben sehr gut geschmeckt und sind uns sehr gut gelungen. Da ich auch davor schon etwas Erfahrung mit Dumplings hatte, kann ich es auch für diejenigen empfehlen, die sich schon ein wenig durchprobiert haben und vielleicht schon etablierte Techniken haben, da man trotzdem ein paar neue Rezepte dazu holt und auch einiges an Techniken dazu lernt. die einzigen, für die dieses Buch vielleicht nicht anspruchsvoll genug ist, sind sehr erfahrene, asiatische Omis, die schon seit Kindheitstagen häufig viele Dumplings machen.😅 Ich möchte den Autoren, die sich offensichtlich sehr viel Mühe gemacht haben, nicht den Verkauf erschweren, in dem ich die Rezepte einfach hier alle online stellt. Daher habe ich nicht viele abfotografiert, sondern mit Absicht unvollständig und schnell durch geblättert ein Video gemacht. Ich hoffe so können angehende Käufer trotzdem eine Idee davon bekommen, was sie in diesem Buch erwartet, ohne die Rezepte unrechtmäßig preiszugeben. Ich kann den Kauf auf jeden Fall jedem interessierten empfehlen.
