Set it and forget it.
Like the title of the review says, set it and forget it. That is literally all you need to do when you get a shure microphone. Here are the steps to follow: 1. Remove from package, Insert fresh batteries. 2. Press group button on receiver to scan for a good frequency. 3. Press group button on microphone and match the group and channel number on receiver. 4. Start singing. That’s it. No seriously that’s it. They made their mics really simple to set up. It feels just like the other one that came in a package and they work right out the box. I have never had a bad replacement. And the only reason why they have to be replaced is because some clumsy person dropped the microphone pretty hard. What can I say, accidents happen it’s part of the business.

Forced to purchase
Because Shure sells wireless systems even after it knows the government has sold off the frequencies, I had to buy these to replace mics with frequencies that were no longer usable.
