After trying several brands of resistance bands, I can confidently say that the HPYGN set stands out for its quality, strength, and thoughtful design. I have only unboxed them after receiving today, and here is what I notice so far, and comparing to a 12 year old set I purchased with health points from the Humana Vitality Store back in 2011. I see each band's material in the new HPYGN set is thinner in width than my unknown brand older set. Each band's diameter in my older set of yellow 10lb, grey 20lb, and black 40lb are .5" each. The 10 lb in the new HPYGN set is only .3" in diameter. The 50lb in the HPYGN band is only .4" in diameter. So right there is an indication this new set's material is less quality. My 12 year old set is as flexible and strong as when I bought them 12 years ago, however, they were in storage and unused until 1 year ago when I found them. But even still, the rubber has not dry-rotted, cracked, or lost it's flexibility just sitting in a box for 11 years. I also notice the new bands attract hair and debris on the outer surface, whereas my old set does not. But that is just being very critical. What is more important is the function of the bands, and not their diameter size, or slight stickiness that may go away after time with use. My new HPYGN set might possibly be able to hold up better than my old set after 12 years... who knows since they are freshly new and not used yet. For the very affordable $25 HPYGN exercise bands, I wasn't expecting a high quality Gym/Hospital grade set of resistance bands, which in time may indeed prove themselves to be a long-lasting and good quality. This brand of HPYGN resistance bands were the only < $30 ones that reviewers didn't complain about bands snapping and breaking, which is why I chose them. So far I have no real complaints, and will update this review after a few weeks of using them. Please note, however, I would still recommend them based upon what I was sent for only $25.

A good budget set. Works fine. Well built. Several options for use.

Very durable and strong. Great for different workouts, and I definitely recommend them for anyone looking to exercise at home or the gym.

Well made with good materials. Time will tell, but I see this workout set lasting a good while. The stitching on the grips is good and the material is sturdy. The one thing I would change is the grips have soft foam/rubber that I do not see lasting and breaking down and tearing in a few months. Everything fits in the pouch so you can throw it in your suitcase for a workout on the road. Overall, a good product. Change the grips with hard rubber.

The bands are great to use when you have limited space, but need a variety of “weights” for different exercises. Note that there is one band for each weight, so if you want even weight to use at the same time, consider buying two. They are good quality bands and deliver a true workout! I love that I can switch up the resistance so easily and stack them for even more variety. A couple additional features are nice to have- the door anchor (since I’m in a rental, I can’t put a anchor in my wall) and the exercise chart (helps me stay creative!) Perfect coronavirus + small living purchase! I am happy with it.

I wanted to like and use these bands for exercise. One issue I had was that the bands had a smell of rubber which was a problem for me as I have multiple chemical sensitivities.. I tried airing them out but the smell didn’t disappear. The other difficulty I had was w/ pain when I did try using them bc I of arthritis in my hands.

Overall great value with superior quality. The carrying bag come in clutch, makes it easy to keep organized and stores well. Highly recommend.

Good combination of bands. Nice chart of exercises. This is the way to take the gym with you when travelling.

I use this on an old basket ball hoop in my back garden, really easy to set up.

Ordered these after a close friend told me about her success using these. I have been using these for 3 weeks now and I am in shock at how great the work out is. I bought these thinking I'd have to double up the bands in order to get the right intensity. I was dreaming!!! The tension with the 50lb band is intense and pulls me back to wards the door when doing a chest fly. My ultimate goal was to find a home solution that would allow me to cancel my gym membership. I used YouTube as my resource to find exercises that would replicate my routine at the gym. Not only was I able to replicate them, I was able to find some unique exercises to work the same muscles. I'm rambling but overall I am shocked at how effective these are. The set itself has everything you need and both the handles and the ankle straps are very comfortable. I noticed a lot of similar products on Amazon have a very basic nylon ankle strap which couldn't possibly be comfortable. The door attachment is very strong and works great. Everything fits nicely in the carrying bag and weighs next to nothing. Won't take up hardly any room at all in your suitcase if you want to take it on the road.
