I ordered this Cat5 cable to plug my computer into the router since my previous cable came up missing, you know, that never happens right? Anyway, my old cable was an older round cable and when I pulled this one out of the small package, it was flat and very compact. I figured it wasn’t going to work but alas, it worked perfectly. And not to mention, my PC seems to be working faster than before. ChatGPT suggested I buy a pure copper cable which is one reason I got this one. Works great and I’m a happy camper!

Although Cat5e is an older standard, it offers the speeds that I need. I have a 400mbps internet connection at home and Cat5e is still more than adequate. I chose this over a Cat6 cable simply because it was flat and thin and take up less space in the tight area behind my desk than a Cat6 or 7 cable. Since I only needed a few feet of cabling, I wasn't concerned with interference. If you're looking for a thin cable with good build quality and fast speeds, this isn't a bad choice

It's hard to disconnect from my laptop because the clip seems to be shorter than other cables I've used. It works great, but I'm probably going to buy something else because I'm breaking nails or scared I'm going to break the cable when I can't get it to disconnect.

After a lot of searching I'm glad I finally found Monoprice cables! Great price/cable quality/length. Suitable for IT service use. Won't hesitate to buy more patch cables when I need them.

I installed the cable from my study to my room, passing it through a window, it was installed but it is not as flexible or practical as they indicate, the fiber broke, and it did not bend at such a pronounced angle

I have purchased 3 of these and so far the 2 I have used work flawlessly no issues. The third is still in the package but looks fine. It’s a standard cable so basically, it works aha. The only annoying thing is in some instances the tab on the top isn’t really long enough to press down the plastic tab to remove from the device, so for my gaming pc it was kinda hard to disconnect when your trying to reach behind and get it. It’s not that big of a deal for me personally so I still feel like the cable is a great buy for the price, but for those that have big hands, they may have a prob. But maybe not :P

Used for TV

A good quality flat network cable. I really like the short lenght's that they offer as it makes for a very clean setup when connecting devices. Would recommend Monoprice products to anyone looking for very good quality at an affordable price that's hard to beat.

Love these. Bought to do hookups under a tv for home theatre setup. The black blends and the flat cable makes it very easy to run. No issues with performance and the build quality feels solid. Bought several of them in different sizes and would happily recommend.
