Great for holding while painting
Smaller than I thought which is great! Weighted perfectly. Jaws will open farther and holds the mini great. Worth the price. Feels great and ergonomic to hold. Will greatly assist with painting and fatigue I holding the mini while painting. Fully assembled in box. Very functional and appears very durable for a long life of use.

Unexpected but appreciated
I bought this as a gift for my son and he was extremely pleased with it. It is small but it makes manipulation of small models easy and painting becomes less of a battle with a smaller tool. He uses it often and has had no complaints about ease of use or fear of anything breaking on it or the models he is holding with it.

A must have tool for painting Warhammer figures
My teenaged son wanted this for holding the Warhammer figures when he’s painting. Works well and the price was great.

Expensive -- like all Citadel products -- but does what it's supposed to
Not much to say about this one: it's a pretty basic product. Open it up, put in a mini, the spring clip holds it in place so that you can paint it without worrying about it slipping out of your hand. There aren't many minis that won't work with one of the two settings, as long as they have a base of some sort. Baseless minis won't work nearly as well. It's comfortable to hold, does what it says on the box, and makes your life a few percent easier. If you can live with the Citadel markup for these positive outcomes (or if you want to be seen using an obviously Citadel-logoed product), then you're all set.

Great Holder
Solidly built and holds models securely. It’s super light, small, and easy to manipulate while painting. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but definitely a step up from cork and putty.

Simple.and effective
Used to hold battletech miniature bases. Simple and effective, easy to use. Much better than tack putty on a pill bottle and theyre not expensive.

Great for WH40k miniatures
Holds older, smaller bases easily. Also held kill team figure bases (larger) ones with ease as well. The smaller base miniatures can spin while held in this, making painting easy. I’m sure that’s not what it’s exactly for, but for me it’s a big plus. Better than holding with fingers

So glad I bought this. Helps keep the minature in place and allow you to get a better hold on it without worrying about getting your fingers all over it.
