Good value and performance some tweaks needed
Great value for money to get all the bits you need. After 4 hours of forza my gpu hit a hi of 65°c and my cpu 60° (r9 290 on 15% overclock and a i7 3770. Before gpu hitting 95° no overclock and cpu 77°) No instructions but not particularly hard to figure out, I'll add some tips here and a few things you should buy too: 1.No thermal paste or pad included. 2.The pump isn't too noisy but you will suffer from case vibration which is annoying. I added some small anti vibration mounts to the bracket to eliminate this. (4 × 10mm £9) 3.I'd advise also getting some right angle water fittings to help with your install. (2 × £9) 4. Be prepared to do some drilling into your case to mount the pump. 5. If using the heat block for a gpu, be prepared to do some modification (cutting, drilling) to your gpu and figuring out a way to vrms/memory cool. If on a budget if advise looking out for a model specific gpu water block on the used market (£30 seems the going rate) 4. To quieten down further and hopefully extend the life of the pump I added a small variable voltage motor controller (£4) to the pump and brought it down to 8.2 volt. Its near silent and has made no difference to thermal performance. 5. The kit comes with a one way valve cap for the reservoir, stick this on for the first day or so running your system to get all the air out. 6. Take your time and plan it out, All in all made a big difference to my pc, no more screaming fans and gpu freezing mid game due to thermal throttling. Well worth the under £50 I paid and with the bits I added I was around £100 when done for a pretty solid build.
