Technicians Pro Wheeled Case MA2652

Being a self employed coffee machine engineer for nearly 25 years I have had various types of toolbags/cases supplied by employers and the last 6 years I've had Stanley Fatmax bags which have sort of sufficed but always seem to be not quite what I wanted or needed. This is 99% there, only other spec that would have made it perfect would be a shoulder strap, having said that, I've got all the tools I use regularly installed and it weighs a ton so not sure how my shoulders would hold out lugging this around. I've got all the spanners, screwdrivers, socket set and other tools I nearly always need , all laid out, easy to see and remove/put back and so far it is just what I was looking for. It rolls well when being pulled , the wheels seem sturdy, although I've only had it a week so probably not really enough time to say how long it will be before they no longer function or break. I'll update periodically to advise on how the bag/case is holding up. Good strong zips, like the grey and red and the slots for screwdrivers, cutters, smaller tools and spanners is perfect for me. If you are a technician/service engineer and don't like having to go back to your car or van cos you've lightened the load in your case/bag and need those tools you took out this is just the job. So far so good , based on my experience so far, good price and I can recommend this quality product.

excellent design aand saves your back and shoulders

I had/have the older version without the wheels (MA2632) I used that every day for a little over 9 years and it’s still going strong. (Used as a field printer/copier service engineer) This wheeled new version is very very similar in look and materials used so hopefully it will last as long. There’s lots of storage although I have a few niggles. The 2x interior pockets within the main compartment are far to tight to get your hand in, this wheeled version is missing the pen holder bits underneath the main compartment lid which is a BIG let down and I can’t understand why CK omitted this. On the old version there were 2x pockets on each outer end of the bag yet the new version only has a pocket on one end even though there’s room for one on the other end which is puzzling. It’s a good bag but let down in a few areas, the ONLY reason I replaced my old bag (still nothing wrong with it) is because I carry that many tools the old bag was ridiculously heavy to carry around on my shoulder. I paid around £50 for the old MA2632 bag and £117 is more than I’d have liked to pay for a similar bag but wheeled although seeing as this used the same materials as my old bag and how well it’s lasted I thought I’d stick with CK Magma. Iron out my niggles and it’s a 10/10 otherwise I’d give the wheeled version a 9/10

Amazing space and good zip quality and organising, but horrible durability, i have had it for 2 weeks, and only heavier things i carry are a drill and multi tool, everything else are screwdrivers and light things, the wheels on this product are horrible, these are the wheels after 2 weeks of normal use
