Good quality tin snips for small work. I use them for thin tin. Sturdy tool. Better than I expected considering the low-dollar price.

I got my first set about 2 years ago to cut out tennis string quickly from racquets and it worked as needed. They were very sharp and operated smoothly. The clippers were used to cut some low gauge wire and they’re not made for that so it affected how well they cut tennis string. I ordered a new pair. This is where it gets weird. The new ones arrived taped to a piece of cardboard that left a residue on the grips I had to het off with a combo of wd-40 and Dawn. But they otherwise seemed like the same high quality as the first set so I decided to keep them. Notice that the piece of cardboard was branded as IGAN. That’s when I noticed that the new pair had etching that read IGANCE. Altogether, I’m not sure if this is just a factory error or an indication I got a counterfeit item. All other markings appear correct and the new pair feel, look and operate like the old pair. So for now, four stars.

True flush-cuts. I use them to trim ends on zip ties, mainly on my boat, but I have a pair in my shop, too. If you use standard diagonal cutters, it leaves a nasty sharp plastic edge that will later bite you or someone else. These cut nice and flush, keeping the wires tidy and the wire ties safe. They are also great for snipping old zip ties off. Great value, too.

It cut through some metal ornamental items I wanted smaller to decorate my Christmas tree. They’re very sharp & work well. My only complaint would be that you can’t close them when not using them.
