I never really had a Border biscuit before I'm more a ginger nut any brand type person. I thought give them a try. The biscuit is nice and buttery. I like the fact there is a lot of biscuit so I can dunk it in my coffee. It thick enough to not break away, which is good. I liked the fact the chocolate melted but stayed on the biscuit so I had a mouthful of chocolate. It made me smile and think about the biscuit factory I once went to when I was a child. This were easier back then full of innocence and lesser on the complications of life. Good value for the memories.

These 100, 2 pack biscuits are perfect for popping into a bag for snacks when out and about. They come in 5 different varieties and there were 20 of each variety. The flavour and quality and extremely good and are very moorish indeed. Some of the packets contained broken biscuits which was a shame but this has not detracted from our enjoyment of them.

So hard to find these in shops and there is never enough of this variety in thr selection pack. They are expensive but lovely for a treat and just nice at last to be able to find them in quantities that will last a little while. There is no better oat biscuit! Sweet, buttery, crunchy, crumbly and delicious. I do think they have changed slightly from a couple years ago. They were better before but still head and shoulders above the rest even now.

Diese Biscuits gab es in dem Hotel in Oxford, in dem ich kürzlich war. Die Auswahl dieser 5 Sorten ist wirklich gut getroffen. Obwohl: auf die viennese whirls könnte ich zur Not noch verzichten. Die choc chip brownies sind super schokoladig, die choc chip shortbread rings enthalten belgische Schokolade, die im Mund zerschmilzt genauso wie bei den brownies (zu bedenken ist allerdings, auch wenn sie brownies heißen, handelt es sich hier um Kekse, nicht dass da jemand an typische Brownies denkt). Die butterscotch crunches sind knusprig-karamellig und die oat crumbles süße, knusprige Haferkekse. Hergestellt werden diese Biscuits in Schottland. Das Shortbread soll das beste sein, das man dort bekommt. Ein Mini-Pack enthält immer 2 Biscuits. Die Schachtel, die man bekommt, enthält also 200 Kekse. Die reichen eine Zeit lang. Allerdings finde ich es auch recht gefährlich für die schlanke Linie, wenn man so eine Menge zu Hause hat, weil sie soooo lecker sind, zum Tee oder zum Kaffee oder einfach so, wenn man Lust auf Biscuits kriegt.... allerdings hab ich noch keinen Online-Shop gefunden, in dem ich alle die Sorten, die ich will, in kleinerer Menge bekomme, so wie hier.

En perfecto estado, crujientes y con un sabor espectacular ..

I am not really a "shortbread" person; I've had one or two kinds that were pretty good, but that's about it. This particular assortment of shortbreads have changed that, lol. Hopefully, the photo I'll be posting will show all 6 varieties. Starting from the top is 1) Sultana Melts (raisin), 2) Shortbread Rings (plain), 3) Butterscotch Crunch (think toffee crunch), 4) Chocolate Oat Crumbles (fine oatmeal cookie w/backside dipped in chocolate), 5) Chocolate Viennese Swirls (plain, "swirled" shortbread w/backside dipped in chocolate, and 6) Chocolate Cookies (chocolate shortbread w/chocolate chips). Every single one of these are delicious, even the plain ones. Other than chocolate chip cookies, I'm not much on chocolate chips being in brownies, cake, loaves, etc., b/c they are usually dry and hard. So, I was surprised that the Chocolate Cookies were so good; the chips are smaller, not hard, and melt pretty quickly as you eat it--perfect. All of these are great with coffee or tea, and my favorite, ice cold milk :). I was pleasantly surprised as to how good these were, and will def be ordering again---highly recommend.

J'aime ce produit britannique que j'ai pu trouver autrefois grand surface. J'avais du mal à le retrouver sur Amazon. Dommage son apparente manque de pur beurre. Son transport en France n'est pas évident. Il est nécessaire de prendre beaucoup de soins à son point d'origine pour éviter la casse et l'imposition des frais de douane éventuels. Problème post-Brexit de l'EU reste à résoudre.
