Glaze that travels well
I love the convince of these water color glazes. We travel in the summer and having these with me allows me to keep working on my ceramic jewelry. Colors can be vibrant or more transparent depending on the amount of water. True to color after firing and selection is wide and vibrant. After using one set (D) I bought B and C. Have never been able to find one listed as A.

Amaco non-toxic SMUGS are the best!
Amaco non toxic SMUGS are perfect for doing art work paintings on bisque, clear glazing, and firing to make the most beautiful professionally fired ceramics I have ever seen. I am only doing these as a hobby potter in a little 12” kiln, and look at my gorgeous results! I have all 4 sets, and am just learning how to use them as brush-one, and watered-down as finger paints also along with Amaco’s 2 non-toxic underglaze crayon sets. I used a combination of both on the dishes shown in the photograph.

SMUGs case doesn't close well.
SMUGS are great, the container does not close properly, given the size of the contents.

Great product
My daughter is a potter and asked for this set to use on her projects. It arrived quickly and was exactly as shown. It is good quality and has worked out wonderfully on a number of pieces now.

You can't go wrong with these!
I've used these for approximately 30 years as a potter and a pottery teacher. You can't go wrong with these and you'll find them to be easy to use and foolproof. I love the watercolor look, and I love that they will hold the color usually to Cone 6.

Amaco is the right choice
I use Amaco underglaze pencils, chalks, paint and these watercolors for my ceramic work and they are the best.

Great but expensive for quantity
This product is great but it’s very expensive for the amount of product one gets. I’m looking how to make my own watercolor underglazes because this price is just too much
