Great tool
Well made, a must when making a sign, glad i bought it

Sturdy!
I haven't actually used this stick in my painting process yet, but I did test it by bracing it on my leg and resting my arm on the angled bar. Even when pressing down, the aluminum rod does not bend and offers great stability! The tip is well attached and covered with leather that appears to be rubber banded to the stick, but is more sturdy than it looks as I could not pull it off. (I didn't want it off, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't fall off) I would like to have some sort of cap at the back end of the stick as it is left open ended. That feels a bit cheap to me, but the stick seems great where it matters.

Worth the price
First one arrived defective. But seller replaced quickly. Very nice , sturdy.

It works
Does the job. When the two parts are screwed together it feels quite sturdy. You can always use one section if you want a shorter stick.

Great accessory for fine detail painting
This is a high quality Mahl stick that will make detail painting of fine lines much easier. Excellent quality construction with aluminum shaft and light weight. 5 stars!

Sturdy and portable
Just what it says: aluminum alloy rod painted black. It screws together and it’s made right: threads are tight and the rod is straight when assembled. The leather is genuine, so keep in mind it will require cleaning at some point. It fits a 15” backpack no problems

Not flexible enough
This is more stiff that I prefer. It is well made and sturdy, but while I am painting, light weight would be nice. This is not light weight. I also prefer a more flexible base, that would allow me to balance it better. All in all, I would say that I received what I ordered, but a flexible yard stick and ball works as well, if not better.
