I bought this for my 15 month old for our flight home from Hawaii. It was a good 15 minute distraction, she was able to hold the marker and scribble, but was more interested in putting the cap on and off than citing. Still a few months too young for it, but saving it for our February flight. The product itself was great and I am confident would loved by ages 2-6. color and marker quality were very good. Nice bright colors and fun secret images to uncover. The compact size makes it perfect for travel. Comes with lots of pages. The marker "holder" is a stretch, but if you don't open the cardboard all the way maybe. We found they both fit nicely in our crayola color wonders travel desk which I also recommend.

This is a great on the go activity. Mess free coloring. Great gift and value. Highly recommend

My kids love these for passing time on a car trip and at home. They are good for all ages because of the magic marker!

This is meant to be a Christmas stocking stuffer for my 2.5yo daughter, so my opinion may change, but so far I really like this. The pages look to be the perfect size for little hands to turn and hold down while coloring, the packaging/outer part of the coloring book is bright, colorful and fun looking and the paper is decent quality to the touch. It is a tiny bit big for the very conventional sized stockings we have, but I hold out hope that I'll be able to either bend it just a bit to fit it in, or find a way to hang it on the stocking itself. Considering my daughter's love for "Ponies" I don't think this will disappoint her at all.

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my 3 year old daughter at Christmas. She loves this book. The only problem is that she loved it so much that she "colored" the whole book in a couple of days. I like that the marker doesn't get on my daughter, or her clothes, or the carpet! I think for a 3 year old it is good because it makes them feel good about themselves being able to color a picture and "stay in the lines". I don't think an older child would like it. One of the drawbacks for older kids is that the pen just activates the colors that are already on the pages. So they can't be creative and pick which colors they want to use. Overall, I think it was good for my daughter.

I originally purchased this book in an airport store when my flight with my children was very delayed and we were looking for ways to entertain ourselves. My 4yo was happily busy with this book for at least a solid hour, and it was such a great help to me. We misplaced the book at home, and she's been asking for it again ever since. When I saw it on Amazon, I knew what I had to do! The wonder of "magic ink" is very entertaining for a young child, and it's nice that it's an activity where the child (not the parent) makes the cool stuff happen.

Cute book for kids to color but the ink ran out so fast! My kid didn’t even finish coloring all the pages before the ink ran out. It’s pricey for paper and a pen, but my kid loves My little pony so what do you do.

Compared to the imagine ink books I had as a child, these do not have as many different activities to do. Every page is pretty much the same and almost like a hide and seek type coloring game. The pages are easy to color and my 2 year old loves this as much as my older kids. I like that the marker can go back in its spot for storage also. This makes it great to take with us in the car or to a relatives home. The colors are vibrant but the pages are a little easy to bleed though. I wish the pages were thicker because when doing one activity the one under it tends to reveal as well. Not all the way but a lot sometimes. Other than the bleeding of pages, my children are in love with these books. They use them a few times a week and I plan to get them more. I love that the marker only writes in the book and not on clothing, furniture, or skin.
