Great product and lasts a long time.

These are perfect for sanding 3D printed items where the supports are removed.

I like these, they are about 3/8" around and wide so they are not or big jobs, they are for "moto-tools" type tools and such, they have 1/8" shafts. Importantly each "flap drum" comes with a clear "heat shrink" cover that must be removed from each prior to thee use of each. Some have said that they are not flap drums, but once they have been relieved of their covers they ARE flap drums. They are rather coarse so high speed and a light hand is required. They do not polish, they are sandpaper drums. (for light carving and general material removal) Ron W4BIN

Not quite the size I was expecting but will work fine.

I thought they were a little bigger around but they work.

I'm not prone to doing reviews, but this item warrants one. I have been using these for over a year. Work very well for the final finishing of most materials. Last a LONG time in most cases. My only issue is with sanding concave surfaces where the corners can grove the surface if the wheel is pushed. This could be eliminated if the vendor would make a version with the outer edge slightly curved, e.g. 2-3 cm radius.Again, kudos on a great product.

These shouldn't be listed as "flap" anything. There is no flap. They are wound so tight, they've essentially become a sanding drum. Even when you try to separate the flaps yourself, nothing. Im sure they're fantastic as a sanding drum if you're cool with paying a buck a piece for but that's not what I ordered. I needed flapwheels which these are not.

These flap wheels are a bit small but for some jobs that's just what is needed. They hold up well.

These flap wheels will do the job. Decent paper, and the threaded attachment post for your rotary tool works well. That said, these are not flap wheels in the way that you may be accustomed or anticipating. As you'll see in the ad pictures, the flaps all curve around the centre point, and do not splay out at all.(A usage note: because the flaps are wrapped around the wheel hub, there is a "right" and "wrong" direction when attaching to the tool. Make sure the tool and the wheel are set up to spin the same way.)I used them to reduce the curb rash on my car rims before paint, and they did what I needed them to do. I'm pleased with the purchase and would buy again.
