This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The tool works great but the instructions are very vague (there's a picture that I couldn't understand initially with no text). You need to configure the tool depending on what type of snap ring you are removing - 1) the kind that goes inside the tube and expands and needs to be compressed to remove, or 2) the kind that goes around the outside of the tube and needs to be pulled apart to remove. To configure the tools there's a pivot pin you pull out then you can flip the head to select whether you want to compress or pull apart the ring. My first time using the tool I had it backwards which made the job much more difficult!

OMG, these are simply awesome. Four independent sets of tips, with different bend profiles and strong pins. Great finish on the pins themselves and a very controllable and comfortable handle. Love how you just remount a tip from one side of the handles to the other to change from pinching action to spreading action or vice-versa. These are a much more cost effective tool than the inexpensive sets of 4 snap-ring pliers available out there, and higher quality on all fronts. I’ll try to utilize the plastic tray as a carrying case for the spare tips and will probably resort to a strong zip-lock bag after some time. Clumsy as that sounds, it’s still going to be a lot smaller and take up less toolbox space than any set of multiple pliers. This set is a keeper.

I needed this pliers to rebuild a power steering rack that had a few circlips. The replaceable tips are pretty neat with the way they are attached and reversible BUT they are not stiff once you really squeeze on them. The tips flex apart too much then the clip goes flying, so you need to use both hands. One to compress the clip and the other to prevent the tips from flexing apart and launch the clip into space. Great snap ring pliers! Works on both internal and external snap rings. This one only works on snap rings with holes. Comes with different size and angle attachments, and the changeover is quick and easy. Wish I'd bought this sooner.

These snap ring pliers are well made,easy to use and come with an assortment of tips for any application. Glad I bought them.

Got the job done, and will keep in the tool box for future use. Maybe not for larger snap rings though.

Work fine for light jobs, but they’re not the most heavy-duty option out there. They get the job done for smaller projects, but for tougher snap rings, they can feel a bit flimsy. The convertible feature is handy, but the mechanism could be smoother. Overall, they’re okay for occasional use but might not hold up to heavy-duty tasks.
