Already noticed improvement
I love, love Cuban oregano! I have been trying to root cuttings and have it all over the house if I can because the smell is intoxicating to me and very medicinal. I root them in water and place in a pot of soil with good drainage but in a week they die. These pots have me on the way to getting what I want. I add water every other day and I have one that has grown over 2 inches already. I think the coco coir that come with it helps as well. Very easy to assemble and the right size for cuttings.

There are definitely pros, but also cons
My experience is a mixed bag:Pros: As someone who has killed pretty much every plant I've ever had, these are a nifty invention for me. I love the concept, and the planters are cute. I bought a bunch of white ones and spray painted them different colors.Cons:1. I bought 15 small planters. 5 of the water meters didn't work.2. The instructions are inconsistent. The instructions in the box say you need to assemble and water meters, and soak the peat moss in a bag that is provided. The video doesn't say anything about assembling the water meters, but does mention the bag for the peat moss. The actual peat moss has different instructions and no bag. Turns out that (1) the meters come assembled and (2) it's anyone's guess how to prepare the peat moss but you can't do it in the bag provided because it wasn't.2. There is a QR on the box that says it will give you 20% off your next purchase. I tried to use it on Amazon to no avail. I reached out to the seller who sent a quick response saying that they would apply the 20% to my order, once it was fulfilled.3. After my order was fulfilled I contacted the seller again asking for the promised credit and mentioned that 1/3 of the water meters didn't work. I never heard back.** update- the seller contacted me offering a refund. Much appreciated! And the plants are still alive, which doesn’t usually happen with me.

Not the best, not the worst. Don’t depend on the water meter
Pros:1) Cute2) Small3) Logo sticker comes right off so the pot looks cleanCons:1) Water reservoir is tiny2) Half of the water meters don’t workOverall these would work probably better for succulents in Lechuza Pon or something that can handle a drier environment overall. The water reservoir isn’t big enough to even make it a week for philodendrons or epipremnums. Not big enough for LECA. Definitely cannot rely on the water meters. Half of mine either won’t float or got stuck. I won’t buy be buying more. DIY versions work better than this.

Good for carnivorous plants
These pots are perfect for my Drosera capensis (sundew). Most carnivorous plants must be kept in a tray of water, which I find to be inconvenient and not aesthetically pleasing. With these, I’m basically overfilling the reservoir so they have the benefit of sitting in water without looking all cluttered.Since I’m not using these as intended, the water meters aren’t really useful to me. They seemed to work, though.Overall, very sturdy plastic and attractive appearance plus holds plenty of water for my sundews. I will likely buy more. Maybe different colors or shapes to mix it up some.I had one very minor issue — on some of the pots, the bump in the center on the bottom of the pot was too big and made the pot wobble. I trimmed it shorter with a utility knife. Problem solved.(Don’t judge my plants. They are a little rough from the repotting process. They’ll be happy again in no time.)

Great for suitable plants
These would get five stars but a couple arrived with esthetic damage. One external pot is warped into a diamond shape so the internal pot won't sit quite flush with the top - but it still works fine. Another one arrived with some damage to the clear plastic water monitor that makes it hard to see the dropper - but again it still works. After a couple months of use my plants are all growing well and most are blooming so they don't care.

Reservoir for water is TINY.
I intended to use these for african violets. They look great and are well made. The only problem, which was significant enough for me to return the pots is that the reservoir for water is SO small that it makes it ineffective as a self watering pot. I returned them. The round version 3.5" pot by this same manufacturer is has a significantly deeper compartment for water in the base. I recommend those instead.

Keeps the soil moist
Super cute! And the soil stays moist. But the water indicators don't seem to work well. The first one didn't work at all and the 2nd one worked for a bit.
