I love dark chocolate and have tasted many brands. First of all, each bar can be broken into very small rectangular pieces if you just want a small bite of flavor. It’s the perfect size if you want to slow down and enjoy the flavor and/or are on a low sugar diet and are craving something sweet but not so sweet that will cause you to eat a half bar or the whole bar. This bar is the best 92% dark chocolate bar I have ever had. It is rich, full of dark rich flavor, with just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy. There’s nothing artificial or waxy about it.

Update: I would like to note that the customer service for Beyond Good is awesome. They reached out to me following my original review below and asked if I would like to try their other flavors. What I realized is that it's not the company's fault, but that's just the way Madagascar cocoa beans taste (not my cup of tea as they are sour). However, the two bars from Uganda (single origin) with Hazelnuts and Rice Crisps were really good and I would purchase them again. The Toasted Coconut bar with Madagascar beans again had the sour notes. Due to the outstanding Customer Service and great additional flavors, I am updating my rating to three stars. Sorry, could not eat this chocolate. Tastes sour and salty. Why is there 10mg sodium in the 80% cocoa version? Definitely do not recommend. Wish I could return it.

This is the worst chocolate I have ever tasted. I don't know if it was a bad batch, old or what, but It has a very noticeable a powerful acrid sourness to it. I couldn't even manage to eat a single square. Spit it out and there the rest out. It did not even come in the occurred gift box. Not that it matters much, I'd not gift this stuff to anyone.

I love how unique this chocolate is. it is fruity and acidic, unlike any chocolate i've tried before. You have to enjoy exotic flovors or else you won't like it. It is not good for drinking as hot chocolate, just eat it plain with tea or coffee. My mother in law said it tastes like a monkey's butt LOL

We just received our 6th order of Beyond Good Chocolate Bars. The first 5 orders were delicious and wonderful! They were all an easy 5 stars. But this last order was a huge drop in taste quality. Instead of multiple dimensions of flavors swirling in the mouth, it was almost as if we were tasting a totally different brand of chocolate like candy off the rack from the convenience store. It also seemed as if maybe the chocolate had been in storage for a year or two. Not sure if we'll re-order.

Flavor was really disappointing, also way over priced on Amazon.

There is nothing chocolate about these bars. I gave them out as Christmas stocking stuffers and no one liked them. It was embarrassing giving them as gifts only to be shocked by the horrible taste. We threw them on the trash on Christmas morning. DO NOT BUY THESE BARS.
