San Jamar Bestguard Oven Mitt with Reinforced Webguard Plus, Cotton, 17 Inches, Black

Very happy with these! Been using for a few months now and would definitly buy them again. Wish they came in fun colors but these things are very durable and sturdy. Mine came with 2 but I remember not being able to see that info clearly. I’m average adult size and these come a couple inches from my elbow which is great. I bake a lot of bread and I’m always reaching into a 500F oven to load and unload my cast iron baker and pans. I really appreciate the coverage in the arms and although I can feel some warmth in the hands when holding hot pots, I’m typically not holding long enough to really get hot. On a scale of 1-10; 1 being dollar store mitts and 10 being metal foundry mitts I’d place these at a 7 or 8. My hands and arms feel very protected and the gloves feel like very good quality. Not flimsy and thin.

Around 3-4 years ago, I bought a pair of these from Amazon. Since then, I just physically wore them out. Recently I bought a new pair of the same brand intentionally. I'm a man in his mid-60's that enjoys cooking. And like most men, I get accused of not remembering that the hot oven racks can pull out (LOL). Have the burn scars to prove it. But these gloves help protect me from myself. The gloves come up about 3/4 up my forearms, and can handle very hot dishes for a reasonable amount of time. They have saved me many occasions when I put my hand down on a hot stove eye (duh !). These gloves are durable, but not indestructible. Yet they make me feel like I am. Great price for this protection too !

I got these mitts for puppy bite training and play. He really enjoys biting me while I'm wearing them. it gives enough protection so that he can't pierce my skin but thumb bites are a bit painful. Really like the long length so he can bite my forearms too. Cons are it's a bit stiff and could be plushier for oven mitts.

They do fit larger hands. My dad has the hardest time with normal kitchen oven mitts but these fit him well. He wears a size large in men’s work gloves

The length just right for me. Use it more often now whether baking cake or deep fried food.

We have been buying the "cute" oven mitts from places like Marshall's for years and although cute, they were never great quality and always a little snug jn my husband's hands. These are perfect! Longer to protect forearms, large enough foe husbands hands (but not too large for me) and really heat protective and well made. Maybe not the latest fashion, but they live in a drawer, so we are finally going with quality over style.
