My best OTC choice for pain
For me, Naproxen has been the best OTC choice for pain. I've tried them all. Unfortunately, all the main OTC pain med products CAN cause problems with stomach, kidneys, or liver, so you cannot take them all the time if you don't want to have to worry about that. But what I like about Naproxen when I do take it is that it really does eliminate most of my pain for about twenty-four hours at a time. Granted, my dose is three tablets, but it does the trick. I usually will take them in the evening so that it will also help me through the night for sleeping and pain relief, and it will get me through the next day very nicely as well. I make every effort not to take any OTC pain med more than a couple of times a week. Wish I could take it every day and my life would be about eighty percent better. The ones I recently received say that they were made in Mexico. I'm hoping that being made outside of the US is not a problem as far as content and quality.

Can’t beat Aleve. I feel them kick in within 30 minutes and they definitely work a good 10-12 hours. It’s so much safer for the liver than taking others every 4-6 hours. And plus, who wants to feel pain every 4-6 hours before remembering to re-dose on the other stuff? And you can’t beat the price, at least I couldn’t at the time of purchase. These were so much cheaper than the local store; at least 50% off. I will repurchase when necessary, but that won’t happen for a long time since it’s such a large bottle.
