Handy kit
Came with all tools needed to open sat nav , unfortunately was wrong battery so ordered another one , really hard to unclipped case and on my model there was 2 screws at bottom

this battery was not compatible with my 6100 Go
the battery plug was smaller than the 6100

Didn't work for me.
I'm not knocking the product but when I installed the battery by the method recommended in a youtube video, that was the last time I saw any display on my tomtom's screen. As someone who has built 2 pc's I think I know my way around electronics but this proved otherwise. Seems car sat navs are just another disposable item that last only a few years and must then be replaced.

Es ist unglaublich, was man hier für 20 Euro bekommt. Ich konnte mit dem Werkzeug mein TomTom 620 perfekt öffnen, ohne jede Beschädigung. Man muss natürlich geduldig vorgehen und ein bisschen geschickt sein. Beim 620 nach dem Öffnen beide Hälften beieinander lassen und nicht auseinanderziehen! Sonst muss man hinterher das Flachbandkabel umständlich wieder einfädeln. Der neue Akku ist ebenfalls sehr gut und funktioniert auf Anhieb. Um den Akku festzukleben, ist sogar ein doppelseitiges Klebeband von 3m beigelegt. Der alte Akku war übrigens auch nur festgeklebt. Danach das TomTom wieder vorsichtig schließen und an den Rändern fest zusammendrücken, damit die Clips einrasten. Fertig! Ein super Reparaturset!

Der Tausch des Akkus war dank des mitgelieferten Werkzeugs und Anleitungen im Internet in 5 Minuten erledigt. Das Navigationsgerät konnte ohne Beschädigung geöffnet werden. Der Akku passt exakt in das Gerät. Jetzt kann das alte Navigationsgerät noch viele Jahre gute Dienste leisten. Die Umwelt dankt!
