Q: would this be good with tomato sauce?

Tomato is not the best sauce for this pasta because you would lose the flavor of the own pasta (black squid ink and paprika). We recommend you to taste it only with extra virgin olive oil, seafood (shrimps, scallops, calamari, mussels..), and garlic. The classic aglio & olio (garlic & extra virgin olive oil) sauce is also perfect to enhance this pasta!

Q: Are these true to the photo? Some are all black? And some are striped black and orange?

Q: Will these taste OK in chicken noodle soup? I'm scared the squid ink will make it taste fishy

Yes I made boo noodle soup(chicken noodle soup). I made the noodles separately so they wouldn't get soggy in the soup. I didn't taste a fishy taste at all.
