quick delivery and perfect fit
works perfect to protect ham radios from over voltage

Great Device ...
This should be on any battery/power supply/radio type hook up for protection ... Works great ... I does not, however come with Anderson PowerPole connectors as advertised ... Otherwise, nice offering ...

Cut off the voltage can be set
This unit is great and easy to operate and very inexpensive compared to losing a battery from running it totally dead. I really like that you can adjust the cut off voltage via dip switches. Also it won’t turn back on until the preset voltage so it gives your battery a little bit of time to charge. I designed my own double conversion UPS and this is a key component in that

Product works, huge delay in shutoff on low voltage side, slow to turn back on
The product works as stated. I did several tests of the unit. For its purpose to protect batteries from over draining it will shut off at the voltage stated and at room temperature the cutoff was quite accurate on low shutoff, turn back on and the same on the high shut off. The on is on and off is off, both are good options to have so that if you need to use below voltage then you can, but it would also allow high potentially damaging voltage through too. Having an off switch is always a good idea. What I did find was that on low cut off it took 5.8 seconds to disconnect so quick dips do not shut off the output. For example if you are using a ham radio and the current pull causes the battery voltage to drop below 11V for fractions of a second at a time it will not shut off. The same is true for turn on voltage it has a delay of about 5.8 seconds after crossing the enable voltage. That is likely fine so again if using a ham radio and you are protecting your car battery from too much drain it will shut off as it slowly depletes and then not turn back on until after you crank the vehicle and it runs for a few seconds. Likely a good design for this. On the high shutoff, it works well and reasonably quickly. If the voltage is too high at power on then only about 0.5V passes through to the load (I did not have a real load only high impedance in my test so it may allow less if there is real current draw). I want to do some more testing if say you were using a ham radio and the voltage went from 13.8 to 15V how much would pass before it shut off. Quality of the enclosure is good. Quality of the circuit design and soldering is lackluster, no PCB cleanup after soldering, lots of splatter or flux and less than ideal solder joints in many locations, but nothing to prevent it from working. Product came with good instructions, extra parts for like DIN rail mounting and extra PowerPoles and boots for making cables. The only comment about the included paperwork is the flowchart (also was shown on the order page) was printed in black and white and the text of most of the blocks was not readable. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the documentation not being readable and that the long delay in shutoff on under voltage or lack of ability to set it. Initially I believe I will be very happy with my intended purpose.

Working great
Works great so far!! I bought it for in my amateur radio emergency go-box and haven’t taken it out in the field to really test it yet . But all my tests so far show it’s working great!!

Por el momento solo realice pruebas de labirstorio y el dispositivo corta la alimentación según los parámetros configurados. La contrucción es robusta y los conectores mantienen excelente contacto.

Great as a prop!
I work at a space ship simulator, and we often are on the lookout for various props we can use for the missions people come and attend. This looked like a great option for us, and so we picked it up. We're not using this in the traditional power guard module sense, as a result. I have to admit, once it arrived, I was a little surprised to see its size. I thought it would be bigger, but that is okay. It comes in a pretty small box, and has several additional pieces in zip lock bags. For us, we've have some fake plugs crews can use to plug it into, and then flip the switch to activate opening a door. It's kinda a cool thing. Simple, but works well for our uses as the crew goes on an away mission. Overall, for us, it is great. A little small, as I mentioned, but seems pretty solidly built for the price. I mean, we are talking nearly $50, so it should be built rather well.

The on/off switch seems wired backwards
I haven't had any problems with its main functions and it may have alleviated some problems I was having with an unattended battery powered radio... But... the on/off switch seems to function backwards. That points to bad QC at the very least, and something like this you're looking for reliability on, so.... unfortunately it gets 2 stars.
