Eye Saver
I do a lot of outside manual labor during the spring, summer, and fall and my hat brim becomes so overwhelmed with sweat that it drips into my eyes. Not ideal when operating a chainsaw, mower, or swinging an axe/hammer. This band works incredibly well. You can literally feel the sweat down your forehead and then magically dripping away to the side, keeping your eyes free and clear. An added bonus is that it fits perfectly and inconspicuously under my hat. Absolutely perfect solution!

Keeps sweat out of your eyes...mostly
The GUTR is a really well designed and implemented headband for keeping your head sweat from running down your face and into your eyes during intense exercise. It does this really well, but it also comes with a tradeoff - because it is a rubber gutter, in essence, it does not absorb any of the water at all, it just channels it away to the side of your face. This is fine as it doesn't interfere with vision, but it can produce a pretty formidable sweatstream in the midst of activity. Occasionally the sweat will build up in the gutter, too, and spill over and that can go into your eyes. It's rare, but can happen.Overall, I am happy with the fit, feel, function, and value of this piece. I also use more conventional sweatbands at other times, but this is my go-to in warm weather for cycling, and also indoors on the trainer. Highly recommended!

Ultimate? - Yes
Have tried numerous head bands over the years and the Gutr is the best by far. It is basically a thin rubber like strap with a lip (gutter) that catches sweat running off your forehead and channels it down the sides of your face so that it does not get in your eyes.It is very light weight and has a low profile. It is thin all the way around and not wider than your smallest finger. This combination is a must have for cyclists because it also does not interfere with your helmet. It attaches in the back with a simple pony tail style rubber band and velcro adjustment for a custom fit.Because they are not made of fabric they don't saturate with sweat - meaning that if you sweat a lot or exercise for a long period - it still functions without dripping in your eyes later on. (I have some head bands made of wicking material that I really like but even they quit working for me after a long work out.) You also don't have to wash this head band - just rinse it off.Minor drawbacks are that you can't easily adjust the fit while exercising. The trick is to get it where you like it and leave it that way. When you first try it you want to make it overly tight but you'll discover that it stays put - without needing a lot of tension - too much tension just causes a headache. If you're a cyclist you will probably want to loosen your helment band to acommodate the strap underneath the back of your helmet as well - if you don't the band will rest uncomfortably on your ears after a long ride.

Good, not great
Somewhat does what it’s supposed to do. Definitely drains sweat away from your eyes but, it also pools up in the channel and on your forehead which led to (for me) and instant acne breakout after using it only one. As a mountain biker, this did come in kinda clutch tho. Good product. Pros and cons to it tho.

For Bald People, An Absolute Must Have!
I never realized how much of a problem sweat was for bald people. I still recommend this for people with hair, but you may not have as much of a need for it as I did.The band works as advertised. Some people complained about the sweat build-up, and eventually coming out of the collection gutter, but for me, it always ran off the sides as intended, and not onto my face. It was oddly satisfying feeling it finally release down the side and not into my eyeballs. The band is comfortable, and sits on my forhead wherever I need it too without adjusting the size at all.The only drawback I experienced was that quite simply, it's additional headwear. This is an FYI to the customer, not a drawback of the band itself. For me though, using it to mountain bike, it is competing with my bike helmet, headphones, and glasses. It is however a pivotal piece and I will not work-out or do any sweat inducing activity without my GUTR band going forward. The value it brings for the price is shocking. I would recommend this to anyone that sweats.
