Absolutely recommended!
Recently we went out-of-state to attend a family wedding. My daughter's Kodak camera suddenly stopped taking a charge so we went to a nearby WalMart to see if they had a battery or a charger for her camera. The charger we bought still didn't make any difference so we figured the problem must be the battery. After we returned home I found this unit on Amazon & tried it because of the the product reviews & the price. HERE"S THE COOL PART: Not only did the replacement battery work just fine, but this replacement charger actually charged the original dead battery! How can you beat that, especially at this price?

Does the job with a tiny flaw.
I've only had this battery/charger set for a day but at ~$7.00 for a battery and charger, it's worth the money. I charged the battery and then used it in in my Kodak camera until I exhausted the battery. I did the initial charge on 120V and the recharge on 12 volts in my car. The battery supplied in this kit gave the same ~180 flash shots as the OEM battery that came with the camera. What about longevity? That remains to be seen. Using 120 Volt power, it charged an exhausted battery in about one hour. Using a car's 12V power, it charged in the same amount of time. One little flaw: If a battery is installed in the charger while the charger is not connected to a power source, it will discharge the battery. So, if you remove the charger from the 120 volt wall outlet, you must remember to remove the battery from the charger. If you leave the battery installed in the charger when the charger is not receiving power, you may not notice it, but, the LED is dimly illuminated and this indicates it is discharging the battery. The discharge is more easily noticeable if you use the 12 Volt car adapter. If the 12 Volt adapter is not connected to your car and you leave the battery in the charger, that LED is more brightly illuminated. Note that this also means that if your car is like mine, when you shut down the car, your cigarette lighter socket is de-energized. At that point, when the car's 12V socket is de-energized, it is the same as if you unplugged the adapter from the 12 V socket and your battery is discharging. Lithium Ion batteries don't like to be completely discharged. It can ruin the battery. So, remove the battery from the charger before you turn off your car and remove the battery from the charger before you unplug the charger from the cigarette lighter socket. At home, remove the battery from the charger before disconnecting the charger from the wall outlet. Nothing tells you in advance, but, the LED glows bright red during the charge phase and it glows a bright green when charging is complete. Does it continue to trickle charge? I don't know. Also, let's be safe. It's a device that cost only a few dollars so let's consider it is probably not as safe as we might like. I would not leave the charger powered up any longer than it takes to complete the charging process. I would use the charger only when I'd be around to monitor the process during the hour or so it takes to charge the battery. I would never plug the charger into an outlet that is shrouded by flammable window treatments or other flammable items. With these things in mind, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I bought two of these battery/charger sets.

Worthless!
Don't buy this product. The compatible batteries are worthless. They lose their charge quickly and don't even work anymore, after only a few uses. These are cheap knock-off products. You get what you pay for.

Great Combo
The battery and charger work as described. I was a skeptic at first because of the low price but after using it a few times I found that it did exactly what it's supposed to. The battery lasts longer than the original Kodak battery and takes a lot less time to charge than the Kodak charger. Again, this is a good deal and should be considered over more expensive alternatives. The seller also shipped this item quickly.

I love this charger!
I was looking for an older charger that could give new life to "dead" batteries. I think I found just what I was looking for. Thank you to all at eForCity. Service was great and I received it a day early and am now charging all my camera batteries. Not sure yet whether it will revive the dead, but crossing my toes. Anyone who is in the market for a 7006 charger these guys have one for you. Know where I'll head when I get my new camera. Thanks also to Amazon for hooking us up. This morning, when I got up the light on the charger was green so I'll just assume I now own a zombie battery. Well, more than a week later and I have 3 batteries that are good as new. That charger did it's job better than the KODAK would ever have done. The battery market has learned how to manipulate their captive audience that their product is dead. Buy a new one. No just revive the dead. Long live, Zombie batteries!

Very good buy
When I saw there was a charger with a car adapter plus battery. I was a little skeptical espically with the price of $8.07 but it was the best thing I ever did.
