It Works
I recently replaced my ozone generator in my hottub. I used to be able to detect the ozone odor in the bubble stream but not anymore so I purchased these strips to test for ozone.I received the product tonight and I had read some reviews saying it read the same no matter what so I ran a side by side test. I took two large shot glasses (directions say about 2 oz) and filled one with hottub water and the other with hot tap water and followed the instructions for testing both at the same time. The tap water showed yellow (no ozone) and the hottub dark green (max ozone reading). So the strips work and so does my ozone gererator!

Difficult
I find it difficult to differentiate between the various shades of color on the test strip to determine an accurate Ozone reading.

ALWAYS shows false positive
I got these to see if my hot tub ozone generator was still working after a few years of use. The first time I used a strip I was happy to see that yes, it was generating plenty of ozone. Just to make sure, I then conducted two tests. I took a cup of hot tub water and set aside over night. I also tested filtered water. I tested the separate hot tub water at 30 mins and 8 hours time. I tested the filtered water out of the bottle and then 1 hour later. ALL tests were indistinguishable. In ALL cases the reading on the strip was the darkest color.

Easy to use
I bought a cheap ozonator online and was skeptical it actually worked. I bought these strips to test the water afterwards and it’s obvious the ozonator does not work. This test is great and easy to use, I will continue to use it to test out my new ozonator when it arrives.

Sensafe Ozone test strip validation
2 stars until I can confirm it works properly.side by side test in 2 clear shot glasses of water.1. glass with 2oz water from the tap (Register as 0.05 to 0.1)2. glass with 2oz water from clean cold plunge water (Register as 0.0)I have done this test a few times and the result is always the same.Trying to confirm if my Ozone generator is working, per this test strip it is not.HOWEVER, I EXPECT TO GET 0.0 OUT OF THE FRESH DRINKING WATER FROM THE FAUCET, BUT i GET A 0.1Anyone with similar tests?
