The Clippasafe Walking Harness can be used either with the Walking Rein connected at both sides to help assist your child when learning to walk and keep them safe in busy or dangerous environments, or unclipped from one side, doubling the length and giving more freedom once they are walking confidently. When released to its full length, the rein features a parent hand loop for extra comfort, security and ease of use. Review: Great purchase! - As British parents 30 years ago, we used a walking harness and reins with our children. Having moved to the US and become grandparents, we were thrilled to find this product is still available, though it had to be shipped from the United Kingdom. The harness easily adjusts to fit over thick jackets or light weight shirts, and has the bonus that it can be laundered if necessary. The reins can be unhooked into a single strap or left attached in a loop, which we prefer, making it easier to prevent any tumbles. We are able to take our grandson out walking, knowing that he has the feeling of independence, while we are confident that he is safe with the reins securely in our grasp. Review: Seems well made - Didn't work for Ikea high chair hack - I'll update the review if/when I use this for its intended purpose. I'd bought it to give my Antilop high chair a five point harness, but I guess the company changed how the walking harness was structured. The hack you might have seen in videos no longer works. I'll keep the harness for when my little one is a bit bigger.

Not user friendly.
Connectors are extremely hard to open.

Too difficult to use.
The clasp is impossible for me to open, so it's useless. My adult son, who's very strong, also struggled to get it open. He said he could cut out the clasp and make something that opens easier. UPDATE: We threw this in the trash. Our little one is now walking outside and into everything which is the ideal time to use a walking harness, but we found this harness impossible to use. You have to adjust 4 straps to fit the toddler which we gave up because it's too fidderly and the clasp in the back doesn't work unless you use pliers. I should mention that we are used to tacking up horses and believe things should be practical and easy if you're going to use them every day. I do NOT recommend this product.

Absolutely fantastic product. We use it for our 1-1/2 yo. (With 3 under 3, not enough hands. Much to our surprise, he actually loves it, and walks a lot better when we hold on to the lead rather than his hand ! He even brings it to us when he wants to go out (well, that and our shoes...). We keep one in the car for unscheduled stops. It's discreet, the clips are not bulky so no need to take it off for a drive in the car, as it does not get in the way of the shoulder straps or anything... It's definitely strong fabric as our son is quite big and we've been able to hold him up and save a bunch of falls by just holding the reins. The buckle being in the back, no way for tem to untie it, super easy to adjust the fit to the number of layers worn at any particular time. I strongly recommend. And people who think putting a harness on a child is cruel... Well mind your own business and also : I put my dog on a lead because I LOVE him, not to be cruel, same goes for my boys...

It seems to be comfortable.... and my grandaughter likes it because I can keep her close or I can lengthen the strap and give her a little more freedom.......All in all I give it A high rating ...

We’ve been using these for almost a year on our 18 month old and without them I don’t know how many bad falls we would have had! They’re extremely easy to use and tighten/loosen. They’re cheap compared to ones you see in supermarkets. They’re safe! The main thing, they will help prevent your child from falling and they do not hurt or injure them while doing so. They’re great for the money and we use it all the time. They’re not stretchy by any means so I’m not sure why that’s an option on the ratings. If your looking for a cheap decent harness, get these.
