Old Mountain 10179 Cast Iron Mini Tea Kettle with Silver Handle, 1.5 Cups, Black, Iron

So far it works wonderfully. There is no rust of you know how to handle cast iron. I recommend only using it to boil water, then dumping any excess water out of the pot while it's still hot so the remainder evaporates quickly without putting it in a burner or heat source. This prevents the water from sitting too long AND if you have hard water it will create an extra layer of protection for the iron. Yes it is a very small tea pot, useful for about a single average coffee mug. It was perfect for me since I wanted it for camping or hiking and wanting my tea. I haven't tried it outdoors yet so I don't know how it would hold up over a fire.

It's great for a small wood stove

Bought 3, did not try out since I'm giving as gifts. Came in timely manner, super cute and tiny. Everything seems to look and feel great, no cracks or separations. Only thing I wish was different or changed are the little tiny knob handle on the lid to something way easier. I have very small hands and fingers, can't imagine someone with bigger hands and fingers trying to mess with it.

I really misjudged the size of this. No one's fault but mine. But be aware it's really small. Cute though.

Despite seasoning it properly it rusted immediately. Junk.

I bought this to use at home on my stove, but I was surprised when I realized I can use this over a fire while camping as well. It is very small, so don't let "mini" fool you. It fits about 1 cup of liquid, but its perfect for 1 serving! The material is very high quality and it is very durable (my toddler dropped it on my tile and it did not break). I would recommend this to anyone who wants a smaller sized teapot, or wants tea while they're camping.
