Great durable, secure collar. We’ve never been fans of a pinch clasp collar (I don’t trust it to hold if a dog would pull too much), so we always look for buckled collars. This is a great upgrade for our puppy as she grows. The collar is THICK…so be aware of that. It’s not really low-profile. But I still think it fits our 3 month old Irish Setter well. We got the 10-14.5” collar, and right now, she’s on the smallest setting. I do think the durability of this collar fits the price point, but I still wish I didn’t have to pay $25 for a collar that my dog will grow out of. I wouldn’t think twice about purchasing this as a one-time collar for a full-grown dog. Definitely worth the money. We got the green color, which looks great against her red coat. No color bleeding happening at all yet. We’ll have to wait to see if the leather/color cracking becomes an issue down the road…only time will tell. Love that the attachment for dog tags is positioned in a way that allows their tags to lay flat against their chest, facing forward, very visible, and easy to read. Leash attachment seem very sturdy and secure, and we have no worries about it giving way. Excellent collar, and functions just as a quality collar should.

When my(120lb)Cane Corso or (80lb) American Blue Nose Pit isn't wearing a training collar they wear this collar. It's strong enough for restraining powerful dogs and is comfortable for the dog after wearing training collars most of the time. Most training collars are thinner chains and are designed to be uncomfortable for your dog when they disobey. Also when you have your dog off-leash and have to restrain him or her it can be painful having to grab those training collars. This collar is well made and looks great on my dogs. Well constructed with real leather and padded, it will probably last for years to come. I've purchased a lot of collars over the years and this one is the best one I've purchased. Great Value!

It's a very well made and beautiful collar. Brass fittings and small ring for tags as well as 2 larger ones for leash are game changer. Should last for life of this active lab.

Ok, I admit, when I first opened the package and looked at the brass hardware on the collar, I was pissed... it's not only tarnished, but pitted and for the money I spent on it and all the research I did and finally deciding on this collar, for the brass to look like it just got done going through the garbage disposal, I was seeing red and ready to return it immediately. BUT, I have an animal sanctuary (Horses/Dogs) that specializes in unadotpable animals that oftentimes were abused or have serious behavioral issues and one of the dogs, who is so beautiful... just this big white fluffy boy, is a Slovak Cuvac, with artic wolf blood flowing through his veins with a mix of Great Pyrenees. Even though I have 250 lb Saints, this Slovak has a power to him that's absolutely incredible for his size and so stubborn, add into it he has an aggressive side and you have a dog that truly has to be respected for his lineage but also well trained. I've had a hundred different collars/harnesses/etc for him and just never felt quite comfortable with them on him and when I ordered this collar for him I was desperate for a very secure collar as the one he was wearing was sure to snap soon. So when this collar arrived, and I saw the brass was pitted, I was tempted to send it back, but his need for a secure collar outweighed the defects. I kept the collar and am so thrilled that I did. Besides the brass, it is well made. The leather and brass lead ring at the back of the collar is standing up to his sheer power. Having the brass ring at the back allows me to quickly attach his lead, allows quick hook up to his truck dog seat belt, the smaller brass ring in the front allows his rabies/id tags to be quickly seen and not getting in the way of attaching a lead. I'm so thrilled with the collar that I already have several more in my cart ready to purchase for my other very strong and powerful dogs. It's definitely worth the money and I will be a return customer.

I ordered these after months of searching for the perfect collar. I wanted to get a leather collar to use individually instead of changing between their waterproof, martingale, and at home collars. However I also wanted something different from the basic leather that's available. These collars were delivered yesterday and I immediately put them on. These are my thoughts: Sizes - I bought Medium for my 60lb doberman/hound mix and Small for my 27lb Feist (terrier mix) [Size fit perfectly on both on the second to last notch] Width and Thickness - These are padded on the inside so they are slightly thicker than normal leather collars. I won't be able to use the slip on quiet dog tags anymore for that reason. However I'm dealing with regular clinking dog tags again and can always buy the silicone slip on tags if I get annoyed, but this is my preference and not so much a problem with the thickness of the collars. The width Is perfect for both of them. Colors - I ordered Brown and Pink. They are both gorgeous! The brown looks darker in the photo, but was more of a standard leather brown. The Pink is also more of a dark Mulberry, which I love because I wanted girly but not too girly. Durability - so far I've only had these for a day and they've held up through our daily walk, as well as the semi muddy dog park. No issues with either and seems strong enough to handle my big guy pulling more often then I'd like him to lol. I have not bought the matching leashes yet as they are a bit pricier than the collars were but with the quality of the collars, I'm planning to add the leashes to their set! I definitely recommend buying for your dog! A classy and durable way to make a statement that hopefully lasts a long time!

Sturdy, thick and beautifully crafted with attention to detail. I like how the tag ring is small, triangular and off center.

Had this collar of a year now it fits true to size and has held up well. I have it on a boarder colllie stock dog and haven’t had any issues with it breaking rings or busting stitching. Will probably buy another for my next dog.

Overall, the collar appears well made and does the job. The main disappointment is the colour- it looks like a rich tan in the pics, and the one I received is basically just a paleish orange. I like the design so i'll keep it, but it was a bit of a shame that the photos aren't representative of the actual colour.

Quality product as described, nicely finished and fits well. Looks very smart. Large D ring and a useful clasp attachment for id tag and rego tag.
