After having all four wisdom teeth yanked, I was expecting three weeks of a living hell. This little strap - in conjunction with OTC painkillers - spared me. PROS: - Comes with 4 ice packs (2 in use at any one time). - Fantastic price point. - Easy to adjust size/tightness with velcro straps. - Material is soft and non-irritating to the face. - The ice packs are durable; have survived 50+ refreezings. - The ice packs stay cold for at least an hour. - The strap positioning is perfect for wisdom teeth. - When used without ice packs, helps to avoid pulling stitches. - Eased my post-extraction pain & swelling more than OTC painkillers alone. CONS: - Need 6 ice packs to maintain a cold face constantly - freeze time is 2+ hours. - May cause ice burns if used immediately after removing from the freezer. - Goes without saying; you are going to look very silly whilst wearing it. Absolutely essential gear for wisdom tooth extraction, as far as I'm concerned. Would have paid ten times the price for the pain relief this weird little face-harness gave me (just don't tell the seller that).

Helped soothe pain after recovering from tonsilectomy. Helps with reducing swelling and facial pain. The size is adjustable with the velcro strap according to faceshape. Stays cold for a couple hours which is great if you want to take breaks in between to avoid prolonged contact

Really great and useful to help with swelling. However the pads are quite hard when frozen for awhile. Can be a bit sore.

Bought for after jaw and wisdom tooth surgery. Extremely uncomfortable and wouldn't stay closed. Resorted to using good ol' peas and kitchen roll

I purchased this for some jaw pain I was having, I’m a very anxious person so I tense up my jaw a lot and was experiencing excruciating tmj. After about 5 minutes I felt the cooling effects. It was such a relief. I haven’t used them hot but the cold is just amazing. It has a gap where your neck/chin would go that’s been cut out, so it doesn’t dig in your neck, which is brilliant when laying down. Superb!

I bought this preemptively as I was having all wisdom teeth removed and knew this might lead to some pain and bruising. After looking at reviews I decided on this product and have been so pleased with it. After seeing other reviews about the gel packs bursting I've been very careful with mine but cannot see any reason they would break as they seem very sturdy. The fact that you get two pairs is ideal and they come with a large plastic pouch for use in the fridge or freezer which is ideal in terms of hygiene and convenience. I think if the packs are frozen they may be a little hard to get in and out of the strap but fridge cooled it's easy enough to fold them slightly lengthways and they slip in very easily. I've been lucky to not have too much pain with my teeth removed but the cooling effect has been very welcome and provides an extra level of comfort as the gel molds to my jaw and doesn't add any extra pressure, provided the strap isn't too tight. As an added bonus, when sleeping I've been using the strap alone without the gel packs to ensure my mouth stays closed, preventing drying out overnight. I really can't fault the product and for the price I'm so pleased I took a chance on this, would highly recommend for anyone undergoing dental treatment!

J’ai acheté ces poches de chaud/froid suite à l’extraction des dents de sagesse de mon fils. La taille est parfaite pour s’adapter au visage, elles restent bien en place et procurent un vrai confort. En version froide, elles réduisent rapidement le gonflement et les douleurs, et en version chaude, elles aident à détendre les muscles après quelques jours. Nous les utilisons depuis régulièrement. Le fait de pouvoir les réutiliser est très pratique et économique.

Colis ouvert et la personne a également vérifier si il y avait pas autre choses dans le carton, mais apparemment rien ne manque. Article surement inintéressant pour être volé

The main problem is that the product fails at his core goal - you heat the pads as instructed and they don’t keep the temperature long enough for you to benefit (20min minimum). They last about 10 and then they have to be reheated

Comprato per avere un pò di sollievo durante il post operatorio della tonsille cromia. Mi ha aiutato tanto. Molto utile avere un set di ghiaccioli in più per scambiarli durante le giornate
