Marshall Emberton 20 Watt Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker (Black)

Very good speaker clarity is excellent, been using it for a few years now 3 years down the line it’s battery developed an issue and it was shutting down but that was an easy fix, was able to buy a new battery from Amazon and change it myself without any hassle and it works great again, Bluetooth range is weak though.

Something about this speakers sound, cannot be explained in words. The speaker, first of all looks amazing. Its super compact for the power it packs. The sound of this speaker is like listening to acoustic instruments live, it doesnt feel like coming through a speaker. If you listen to it in low volumes, the stereo sound feels like a distant concert being held. Really great speaker for rock, classical, and if you are into oldies and 80's. I don't prefer much bass, and these speakers are not really for that purpose, however the balance is really good. Wont prefer it for small party, but only for personal quality music listening time. Pros Build Quality Sound Quality Connectivity and Easy interface Battery charge is excellent, lasts for few days on moderate listening. Cons The power on and off sound plays loud guitar riff which could be disturbing sometimes at nights. The speaker powers off automatically if you are not listening to anything after few minutes, sometimes its annoying. but not a deal breaker. it does it to save power. When connected to pc via Bluetooth, pausing a video or audio in one tab of browser pauses everything . but then it auto resumes in 2 seconds so not much of deal breaker but small thing which can be improved.

..2 Words...Superb Product!! Although I am a Marshall'ophile ... I did a lot of research on portable, bluetooth, water resistant devices before settling on the Emberton...and man was I surprised when I got the product. Its superbly built. Looks clean and minimalistic with the trademark Marshall grill on two sides. Its seriously tiny and compact (fits within the palm of your hand). 2 Buttons a clean battery indicator and a charging port (USB C)...thats all it has. The magic happens when you switch it on! It connects to any bluetooth device super quick. Can connect to 2 devices simultaneously. The output from this little monster is just breathtaking...I tested it across a wide array of sounds and music and it did not disappoint. I was blown away by the bass output coming from this tiny a device. Cons - No app to connect especially if you want a digi equalizer experience. No carry pouch or small handle to carry the device.

It’s a good product, but after 2 years it started to distort, so I kind of hate it now. The Bluetooth is the worst—if I’m even a room away, it disconnects. Other than that, the first 2 years were great. It did have Bluetooth issues, but I overlooked them since BT 5.0 often has that problem. The design, compactness, functionality, and sound quality were all excellent.

Writing this review after using the speaker for over a week. You cannot get anything better than this, I came across a Marshall speaker and was blown away by the crispness. Buying a small portable speaker like this one, I was skeptical about whether I would get the same feel or not. But boy, oh boy! This just wins left right centre on all the aspects. I was weighing out my options with bose, sony, marshall, jbl. Settled down with the emberton and it is one of a best decisions i have ever taken. It looks premium and sounds premium. You will be taken by the rich sound it provides. Vocals cannot get much crisper than this one. The sony at times sounded muffed, jbl was loud on few occassions where you don't want it to thus losing the crisp vocals and acoustics and the bose at times was just flat. I seriously question why would anyone ever buy a bose speaker when it sounds so flat at this price point. I have watched movies with this, listened to songs endlessly, watched football matches and f1 races. It excels in each and every category. You can very well feel the punch with this. So if you are looking for the best speaker in this price segment, definitely this has to be your choice. The marshall signature sounds is so relaxing you will be in an constant awe. The only cons in my opinion is just because this one is a compact in size, you can barely feel the left and right impact but that's a given I guess considering no other speaker this size lets you feel that impact.

This review is after using the product for about 2 years. The sound quality is excellent but DO NOT go for this one as within 1 year, the battery issue emerges and speaker stops abruptly if you play at max sound or nearly loud volume. As such, I had to service this sending it to their third party service center charging almost 4k coting battery issue. At this price point, there are many other good quality and better long lasting brands unlike this one. If you are a Marahall fan, go only for their battery powered speaker and bot battery powered speaker

It sounds awesome, it connects smoothly, it stay alive quite long (havent checked properly though). Battery back up is around 9-10 hours, not as per the claimed 20 hours. You can check by the 10 res bars given on top as battery indicator. Each bar goes off in approximately one hour. Otherwise, awesome sound...balanced soothing sound. Sturdy build quality. Handy to carry. Yes, you should buy a case as well so that it stay clean and safe while travelling. I tried connecting it on only two phones and it connected smoothly, obviously the one connected first shall always be given priority. Also, I had already paired my phones with my earbuds, so as soon as I can took out my earbuds, emberton got disconnected and the music switched to my earbuds, which is nice to have as a feature. Overall, great speaker to possess. You wont regret it after buying. Kudos, Marshall team!!

Sound Quality for a Bluetooth Speaker of this size is amazing. Marshall is always known for its quality. Pros : 1. Build Quality 2. Stylish and Vintage Look 3. Sound Clarity that differenciates between the low, mids and high. 4. Great battery life. 5. Sound output is amazing as compared to other speakers in this price range. Cons : 1. Sound tends to distort at 85-90% volume (this is my observation, let me know if you face that too). 2. No call feature at this price point. 3. No 360 sound.
