This is a beautiful serving tray! It's well put together and can hold my iron teapot (with insulating trivet) without falling apart. The all-natural black walnut construction is hypnotic to look at in a world of plywood, MDF, and cheesy laminate. I was also happy to find a tray that is ALL natural wood instead of just the side rails. The floor of the tray is the same black walnut as the sides and is just as thick. Since it is real wood, you'll need to be willing to follow the instructions provided so it doesn't warp or stain. This is a great gift for someone who loves old-world craft!

It has mortise & tenon corners & is very sturdy, nothing light weight! And the walnut is just beautiful!!

I love that this is made if solid wood, has that lovely natural grain, and is constructed nicely and (mostly) very smoothly finished. It is also just about the perfect size and shape for what I want to use it for. However, one thing less than ideal is that the handle holes have sharp edges and are uncomfortable to hold - that could be remedied by sanding it out yourself, but what a shame that they'd round out all the other edges and not where you put your hands. I'm also slightly worried about staining/warping/cracking, but so far has not happened.

This was purchased as a wedding gift that I'm tempted to keep! The wood is lovely and the joinery is really good.

Wanted an 'ottoman tray' for the top of my living room coffee table (27.5" x 19.5") as a catch all for the odds and sods that either 1) need an easily accessible home in the living room (coasters, remote control, electric lighter for candles), 2) provide a few small decorative touches (photo, scented candle, small pot for loose change) or 3) provide an (ideally) temporary home for stuff that doesn't belong here permanently (hair bands, loose change, emery boards) that might otherwise end up on the floor or dumped on another surface. This is size 17" x 12". Love the colour which matches with other dark wood accent pieces I have in my mainly high gloss white living room and the quality is good. Got it with £10 discount for £39 so pretty happy. Hopefully, I'll now spend less time hunting for the remote after it's managed to bury itself between the sofa cushions or get itself kicked under the sofa (how it does it all by itself is beyond me), and scooping loose change off other flat surfaces in the room.

Looks beautiful, real wood, light weight. Nice contrast with some darker parts in the wood grain which is what I wanted.

Sturdy, quality tray. Thought it may be a bit over the top buying this to put my dinner on, but it’s lovely. Well worth it, no regrets. Highly recommend
