Pantry staple !!
This is a pantry staple for me !! If you need that umami base for a soup stock, or just make miso soup weekly like me, this is a game changer !! Will add so much umami and flavor. Very little is needed as it can salt your stock quick. Great quality and value for the price.

Dashi Packets My Beloved
For some reason, my brain is terrible with sizes—and I completely forgot I ordered this—so when it arrived, I was like, yes!!! Realizing it was two big packs instead of a bunch of small ones honestly made my night. The cackle that escaped me was great. I'll absolutely be buying more once I run out.

I had been using chicken and veggie stock to make Miso soup, but it wasn't the same as I had experienced in my travels. I researched how to make Dashi stock, then I found this Ajinomoto - Hon Dashi (Soup Stock) and decided to give it try as I didn't want to invest the time to make the stock from scratch. Followed the instructions on package, and the result was a very authentic taste. And it doesn't take much power to make 4 cups of miso, so I think the cost is good value.
