I built many cherry wood furniture kits many years ago, including the finishing touches like stains & varnish, etc. I got this stain recently just to 'dress up' my ramp in front of the house......this is very easy to apply, looks good and dries very quickly. Much easier, in fact, that I was used to. I topped it off with a sealer because it is outside, but the stain held up quite nicely as I had to wait out the winter weather. I'm pretty satisfied with how well the MINWAX worked. Cudos. Easy. I put a second coat on just because I'm a skeptic, but I don't think it really needed to be done.

a lot smaller than expected. works well. make sure to sand first! color was very accurate, doesn’t look cheap or anything. nice finish. not sure about water resistance since i have it on indoor furniture. but no problems so far

Perfect to seal natural wood. Is a very dark shade with cool undertones.

Special walnut on different types of wood ( I don’t know what they are). I added 3 layers and didn’t wipe out with rags as the chair did not absorb the stain well as compared to the cabinet’s doors. Left them dry overnight then added satin top coat.

Loved the results, best when used with pre stain

This gave a nice oak effect when used on an Aspen wood stool. But when used on a pine table it went bright golden orange. So when used on the right wood I'm sure this is very good, just sadly not for me.
