What a money saver. Riveting tools can be stupidly pricy. For my application of fixing rivets on pinball machine parts, this was a great investment. Works with our hobby's standard 1/8" rivets perfectly. A rivet, a washer, this tool, and a hammer and you can have perfect, new rivets in just a couple whacks. Have had this for a couple years now and it works great!

Used this with a bunch of stainless steal rivets. The clincher is precisely made and gave consistent results. I don't have a rivet squeezer or an arbor press so I used a drill press to start them and finished them by hand with a mallet.

Not only did the poorly made tool that I received look nothing like the precisely made one in the photos, it was also defective. It looks as if it has been sloppily welded, though I see no reason why it should have been welded at all. I doubt whether this imprecise tool would have worked for its intended use, even if it didn't have the defects. Worthless and useless.

Borrowed a friends tool to install rivets for a pinball machine ramp flap. Simple, effective, and much cheaper than a rivet press.

This is a quality tool, it performed as expected.

Worked as intended. Simple, elegant. Make sure the head of the rivet is on a hard surface.

A few light to medium taps produced a perfectly rounded over rivet.

Hanson tubular rivet hand clincher for 1/8" rivets . I bought this to replace my clinching tool from Spaenaur fasteners . After some extended use I very much recommend this tool . It has exceeded my expectations and somewhat surprisingly the Spaenaur product . As such I have ordered the 3/16" version to replace my worn out one . They are pricy but are typical Hanson quality .
