Tin Music Boxes Toy (each item sold separately)

Absolutely adorable. Anyone leaving a bad review doesn’t know how plucking-comb music boxes sound. It sounds good and it’s cute to boot.

With no batteries, this is the perfect toy for youngsters that love music. My 5 YO grandson Finn adores it. He has Down Syndrome and is very much into music and singing. It keeps him entertained and engaged for hours. Plus he has to think about it since it only makes music turning to the right. He is ambidextrous, leaning towards being left handed so this gives him a way to work with his right hand. I just fell in love with it the minute I saw it on Amazon. I remember these toys when I was a youngster. I also loved music. I now play French Horn.

Beautiful item, son loves it. It was supposed to be for Easter and arrived late due to late shipping, but it's not the end of the world. A bigger deal than that to me is the lack of adequate packaging. The music box arrived dented. It still plays music, but I believe a note or two are a bit "off" due to the damage. Disappointing, especially after waiting awhile for it. And if I'm not mistaken, I'm not the only one who has brought the packaging issue to light. Hopefully the issue can soon be addressed for future buyers. Mine arrived in a plastic bag with nothing to protect it. It may be better to put this in a box with some bubble wrap or something.

Wanted these as a desk tinker toy for a vintage circus theme desk set. They are delightful for just this. I see a lot of sound complaints in other reviews but I wasn't put off. It's a standard metal dot plank brand music box encased in a tin. So yes the metal encasing will cause a bit of an echo making it sound off tune a bit. But it's supposed to be that way, these are supposed to be retro. It for sure gives them the vintage clanky sound I was hoping for. The paint job is vibrant and no scratches or dings. I am very happy with them I got the mother goose vibe one, and the clowns.

If you're reading this, I'm so glad. Wish I had read the reviews .It's not worth the money. It's out of tune. I can hardly make out the melody. It's small, just a noise maker. It is not giftable in my opinion. I was thinking that it would be like a jack in the box, but there was no pop up surprise. I'll keep it because I don't feel like going to Khols or the Post office to return it. I should have read the reviews. Sorry that I didn't. Take heed!

I like the fact that you can "play" these music boxes either fast or slower. When you are done you just stop turning the handle and do not have to wait for them to wind down. They are charming.

The classical music boxes are just right for having at grandma's house. I love making memories with our grandkids.

My baby, and every baby I've given this to, LOVES this. Their faces beam when it plays. Hands down an amazing baby present.
