Great protection gear
My daughter started to roller skate so there is lots of falling involved. These shorts work great. It is still a bit painful to fall but since she wears these shorts she didn’t get any bruises. So they work. Also it helps mentally- less fear to fall.My daughter is a tiny skinny 9 year old and I bought protection shorts in size Small. They fit perfectly well - not tight - so there is even some room for her to grow. My daughter wears regular pants or leggings sized for 7-8 years old.

Great!!!!
I knew this would be running small; it is intended for kids! I am 5’ and 100lbs and it was pretty tight around my waist. Otherwise this pad is amazing!!! I have fallen many times and it helped my butt. People have come up to me asking me where I bought it and that it’s genius. I think there is a market for this for older, at risk for falls people. They should make it and market it for older people. I would recommend this and want to do a clinical trial with this.

Well constructed, but a little on the small side.
Have not had chance to actually put this to the impact test yet. But test fitting had me somewhat disappointed as it seems to run a little small for the indicated size. Velcro fly and waist closure should be nice though, I'm thinking, over other types of fasteners. Stitching quality looks solid, expecting that the garment will hold up and perform as expected.

Perfect for my sons fall anxiety
Love this product. The price is right and it helps my son feel more confident while skateboarding and rollerblading.

Worth their weight in gold
My 5 y/o granddaughter is taking ice skating lessons, she wants to play ice hockey. In the beginning classes you get no pads because the focus is purely on the skating. She thin all muscle and bones with a scrawny backside but also very fearless so she was taking some nasty spills. It got to the point where it was effecting her confidence, ice is very unforgiving. This pad has made all the difference. She no longer holds back from the fear of falling. I’m glad I got the the XXS. They fit very true to size and the measurement guide.

Inseam is longer than expected
Functionally, this is a great impact resistant short. The falls are less bruising and funny to watch her bounce up like nothing happened.Sizing:The size is off by one, thus too large. We cinched the waist as tight as possible. But the inseam is long and somewhat intrusive. Luckily, my daughter is having growth spurts and grew 3 inches this year. It was a Christmas gift. 9 months later, she is starting to make it look like she is not wearing my shorts.

Odd fit
The hips were fine; the waist was quite tight and the front (rise) was much too high. The back rise was fine. I think the padding would have been fine. Nice but a very uncomfortable fit for my shape. I’m 5’7”/144 Lbs, got XL
