Works but hose connector does not turn
This sprayer actually works as indicated. Was able to put product in container and utilize it with the hose. Only problem with it is the area where you screw it on the hose does not turn. You have to turn the whole container which is a pain. It should be made with a turnable hose connector. Otherwise it does work ok

Disappointing Performance & Design Flaws
I had high hopes for the Chapin G390 Hose End Sprayer, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. While the idea of a simple, efficient sprayer for lawns, fertilizers, and insecticides is great, the actual performance was frustrating and unreliable.Key Issues & Drawbacks❌ Inconsistent Spray & Poor Suction – One of the biggest problems is the sprayer’s inability to maintain a consistent spray pattern. At times, it barely pulls any solution from the tank, leading to uneven application and wasted product.❌ Flimsy Finger Control – The finger control lever feels cheaply made and doesn’t provide smooth operation. It’s either fully open or shut, making it difficult to control the flow properly.❌ Backflow Prevention? Not Really. – The backflow prevention feature is supposed to stop contamination, but I noticed some leaking and dripping, which defeats the purpose.❌ Difficult to Get the Right Mixture – The adjustable settings are not very reliable, and it’s hard to tell if the correct concentration is being applied. The dilution ratio seems off, meaning I either overuse or underuse my solutions.❌ Build Quality Feels Cheap – The plastic tank is thin and doesn’t feel durable. After only a few uses, I noticed minor cracks developing, raising concerns about its longevity. What Works?✔️ The translucent tank is a nice touch, allowing you to see how much solution is left.✔️ When it works, it covers a decent area—but only if you can get the spray to function properly.Final Verdict⭐ 2/5 – Frustrating & UnreliableThe Chapin G390 had potential, but it suffers from too many functional issues to be a worthwhile purchase. Between the inconsistent spray, unreliable suction, and flimsy controls, it’s hard to recommend. If you need a hose-end sprayer for lawn care, you’re better off investing in a more reliable model.Would not purchase again.

Easy to use
Used it to apply flea treatments to my yard. Easy to use and clean afterwards. The spray was good and it’s durable.

Works if you’re a PhD in air locks
This thing is very temperamental. Sometimes it empties WAY before 20 gallons and sometimes WAY less. It’s prone to air locks that either suck too little or too much liquid out of the unit. You can probably minimize this if you run water through it before filling. Overall, it’s junk. That’s why it’s a few dollars.
