The Best Ice Pack For Low Back Pain After a Long Day at Work
This is one great ice pack. Our family is big on ice packs. In fact, half our freezer is filled with various types for our various types of aches and pains! We also like to use them to cool down in the heat since our home doesn't have a/c. I got this one for my daughter, who has low back pain from working long hours. She said it's the best one of all the ones in our freezer. She particularly loves how it straps on securely, and it stays cold much longer than the others we have. Her back feels great the next morning after using this and getting a good night's sleep. In fact, I'm ordering a second one so she can have one at her apartment and one at our house, which she stays at when she works her second job. That's great for me, who will be using it when she stays at her appartment!

Very versatile and worked great
This was purchased to use at night in bed due to major hip pain. It is thin enough to lay with comfortably and keeps cold a decent amount of time. Some others stay cold longer, but this worked exceptionally well for us. It is a good size for coverage and will fold up nicely for compact storage in the freezer.

Less is Not More in this Case
Returning customer. Bought one a few years ago. Great quality, lasted a really long time. Purchased again and noticed there didn’t seem to be as much gel inside, and as others have shared, the amount of time the new batch stays cool is significantly less. Kind of reasonable if they do insert less gel. I weighed the previously purchased ice pack against the new on my scale. Previous = 430 grams, New = 340 grams. The quality of the materials seem fine and unchanged as far as I can tell, but when I have to pay more for less, you lost me as a return customer.

Pain at the head of my right Femur
I had my typical "no workout + a lot of sitting" pain in my right leg that made it difficult to walk. As typical I put on the heating pad and stretched and rolled. This time all that didn't work. Sitting in a recliner I noted that there was one spot that actually hurt the most, the head of my right Femur. I hobbled over to the freezer and took out my newly purchased "The Coldest Ice Pack" I could easily move it to any position and with get the cold on using the velcro straps. I originally bought this for my newly acquired trigger thumbs, works great for that too. It stayed cold enough long enough for me to move it to various locations. Viola I could now to a leg cross over, which I was not able to do just a few minutes earlier. Cold is great for inflammation relief, and these days that is a big topic. Hot is good for what hot is good for, but you do need Cold in the tool box too. This product is a great addition to that tool box.

Great for hot, mediocre for cold.
I bought this because I was having wisdom teeth surgery. I wish I would had gotten a smaller pack. It was too big to wrap it around my head, the velcro wouldn't line up. It didn't stay cold for very long at all. My homemade ice pack in a ziplock baggie was better for what I needed. The pack had a thin layer of ice on the outside, so I had to cover it with something. Not very malleable when it came right out of the freezer, but it softened & lost it's coldness quickly. After the first 24hrs I was instructed to use heat versus ice to get the circulation going to get the swelling down. On the heating aspect this worked great! 35 seconds in the microwave and it was nice and warm. I still am unable to wrap it around my head, but it's the easiest way to apply heat to my face. Stays warm for about half an hour before I want to pop it in the microwave again. I would recommend this product (: It's reusability is fantastic & it caters to hot and cold needs. I would imagine it'd be a lot more practical for a limb than my face. I'm a 5'10" 140lb 22yr old female and it is definitely too big for my head let alone my thigh. I'd get a medium one if I had to repurchase. It's separated into 3 pouches

Easily the best ice pack I've ever used, well worth the cost.
I'm an amputee with severe nerve damage. For some reason, icing my limb in the evenings seems to help with the pain that I have, and this product just might be the best ice pack that I've ever used. The material is durable, just holding one of these in your hands, you can feel the difference between this pack and the other inexpensive ones. The pack stays ice cold for roughly 30 minutes, but that might vary from user to user, and 30 minutes is enough time to bring me some great relief. These seem to freeze up pretty quickly, I'd estimate roughly an hour before it's ready to be used again. I've tried several products, but this one seems to be the very best I've used to date. It's nice to have the ability to directly place the product and keep it there with the included straps, which are quite durable. If you use an ice pack product on a daily basis, something like this would be right up your alley. I'd recommend it without reservation and would easily purchase it again.

Coldest Ice Pack Good for Sprains
The pack is good looking and well made, with a strap with Velcro to hold it in place. I find it takes over 4 hours to get it rock cold and then it quickly melts by the end of the twenty minutes. The pack is very good to hold the cold element in place if you have a sprain somewhere on you body. . I did try to put the pack into the microwave. At 30 seconds is was just warm, and 1 minute it was too hot to wear. I think 45 seconds might be just right.

This is a top of the line ice pack.
I initially got a large and a small. I have already reordered 2 XL and a knee pack with compression feature and I forecast ordering another knee (and ankles) after I experience this one so I can ice both at same time. These are by far the most effective ice packs I have ever used. The intensity of the cold and the duration of the cold is best I have ever used. When you push down on the pack after it’s been lying on body part for awhile, the intense cold is still there and gets redistributed. So I am sure that having air pressure force the pack to conform to the body part continuously is going to be great! *I haven’t used it with heat yet.
