I bought this to replace one that I purchased at a professional store. This one is better quality, more sturdy material, and has accurate measures. Will buy again

This is the second one I own. I purchased the first one several years ago when there wasn’t anything called an internet, way back in the day when you actually went to a store and purchased items. I actually use it for measuring wet ingredients for making ice cream with and it’s very handy for putting the ice cream in when I am portioning it out into quart containers. I also have used it with baking especially when making quadruple batches of cookies. I love that you can easily see the measurements on the side of it as they are well marked. It’s a pretty heavy duty measure and is something that is generally found in the restaurant industry. The best thing is that it’s sturdy enough to pop into the bottom rack of your dishwasher for cleaning , it really holds up to the heat in it.

Great pitcher but some serious glue residue. Not sure why they have to tape anything to the inside of the pitcher. It is a food service item after all. I have it soaking in Dawn. Fingers crossed.

I bought this because of the size and shape - I use it every day in my baking for both liquid and dry ingredients. Works great for my needs.

I have a small granola business and I measure out 6 cups of certain ingredients. I wish I had purchased this measuring cup a year ago. When I'm preparing 30+ batches it really saves time to be able to measure quickly in one vessel. This measuring cup is sturdy and clearly shows, in raised lettering, cups on one side in red and liters on the other side in blue. The cup does not craze when washed and dried in a hot dishwasher. I drew a line all the way around the cup at the six cup mark. Here's how I did it. I filled the measuring cup with 6 cups of water and marked it in a few places with a permanent Sharpie. Then using a bendable straight edge, I connected the dots.

I previously bought this same item probably 10 years back. The coloring in the writing had worn off and I finally dropped it one too many times and it cracked a little where the handle attaches. I was so happy that I found the exact same item. I use it anytime I'm measuring more than a cup. I also use it to fill the coffee pot.

Cons: Only possible con is the prop 65 warning, but for me not a con for my purpose. Pros: USA MADE, light weight, well balanced, comfortable in use, raised permanent easily read w/o my glasses measurements, dripless spout, dishwasher safe, looks/feels durable, less expensive than some others. How unusual it is to find just what I was looking for.
