Very satisfied - Works as advertised, Extremely useful. Without issue 6+ months now.
Great performance for the cost compared to competitors. The quality really seems to be here, several other reviews of previous versions of this model can be found on youtube from folks who have had basically this alpicool unit for OVER 4 years and zero issues - so we too pulled the trigger. We have been using this for 6+ months now without any issues or complaints... just praise. It sits in the back of our SUV and we use it while grocery shopping as it allows to keep the essentials - like Ice Cream - frozen until we get home. Our drive is on average about 40+ min from home to the stores so this has been a wonderful change for us. It has also given us the flexibility to stop after shopping and go into a restaurant for dinner and such. We use the 115v adapter that comes with it (also comes with a 12v adapter if you only have that in your vehicle) while plugged into the back of our vehicle (which has a built in inverter). We do not have this on a "always on" battery or connection so when we turn the car off, it turns off. This has NOT been an issue even when we go in to eat at a restaurant for up to a couple of hours. We have done this several times on the hot summer days and after having the unit already be at 5F or so when we stopped the car and when we return its usually around 40-50F or so and cools right back down very quick. We use all the features listed on this - from the echo cool mode to the max cool which can rapidly cool the unit from 85F to -5F in less than 20 min on max cool. We change it via their bluetooth app when we drive in to do grocery shopping. Although the divider lets us split compartments to do freezer and fridge on opposite sides we have found that for the most part we take out the divider and just use it all as a freezer or fridge depending on what we get. If we don't do this some of the larger items such as steaks and meat packages do not fit. We have been very happy with this purchase and have recommended this to several of our friends. It has really helped change how we do grocery shopping since we live a ways out from the stores.

Absolutely great for long trips
After reading reviews and considering price and features, I purchased this product for an extended trip out west. I was a little cynical that it would be able to maintain the temperatures as well as it did, especially the frozen side since my travel coincided with hot environmental temperatures. The product worked as described and I am very happy. There was only one incident - described below - that gave me pause. Before taking on your trip, plug it in the night before, set the temperatures, place in vehicle, then fill with your food items. Since I was in a car and tried to limit moving it in and out, I purchased a 100 foot extension cord so it could be plugged in to 110. The cord for the lighter plug in was plenty long to reach from the back seat to the front. To keep the cooler level during the trip, I placed wood in the seat with a small piece of plywood. To keep the cooler out of the sun, I used a car shade. PROS - Maintained temperature for both sides. It kept fruit and ice frozen. Kept milk and water nice and cold. - Easy to set up and use - Spacious enough to purchase food and keep water cold so as not to constantly eat at restaurants. CONS After using it, I do not really have any true cons, just being picky; however, during the drive through the mountains that basically had switch backs, the unit stopped working. I was going to leave it in the car but carried it in the house, plugged it in to various outlets and it still did not come back on. I left it unplugged and turned off for a couple of hours and it came back on. I can only surmise that the constant back and forth in the mountains affected the compressor. I would suggest if you are traveling through the mountains with many sharp curves, turn off and leave off for a while just as it said when arriving new. The only true con is that there is only one lid (but I understand why). So when you open to get items out of the frig side and leave the lid up for an extended period of time, the freezer side is exposed. I brought along extra 1 inch foam to insulate the cooler during the drive. I placed the insulation over the freezer side while the lids was up - perfect!

VERY RELIABLE. EXCELLENT PTODUCT
I bought this unit FIVE years ago. It had been running pretty nonstop all that time. Just stopped working a few days ago and I think it is because the compressor may have overheated(my fault due to too overpacked car in warm temps). It actually started up again but only with using A/C adapter and don’t think it is cooling.

When it works it works well, but doesn't last, T-60 only lasts 4 months
I am on my third alpicool cooler fridge. I have purchased 2 with the generic alpicool compressor, and 1 with the lg compressor. The t-60 has a dual zone refrigeration system that uses a single compressor and utilizes a valve to select where the refrigerant goes. This is the biggest cooler that you're going to fit between the seats of a freightliner cascadia (2019 generation) daycab, it’s snug between the back wall and the dash... I typically set mine at 38f for cold drinks and 4f for frozen food storage for supper. I love that it has wheels for the occasional times I need to pull it along the ground. This isn't that light empty, and has a Lot of room to make it stupid heavy when you load it up. I love that it has digital controls with a actual temperature setting and reading, and that you can have even more control when you connect to it via the app. It really doesn't draw much power when running, which helps. The drain plug is a nice addition for cleaning. Unfortunately customer support seems to have diminished over time, they were ready to help with my first cooler, but when the second one failed after 4 months I couldn't even get a response. Hopefully the manufacturer will see this review and re-evaluate, given it's durability issues.... *Update, 4 months in and lgt-60 has also FAILED. This is a lot of money for such a short term solution. Further inspection revealed wires corroded out on the cf-55 (my first alpicool) after over 3 years of service.

Budget friendly and works great as a dual zone Fridge & Freezer
I really like this fridge and freezer because it is both OR can be either. I needed it to fit in a specific space in my camper van and it does. The design makes it work in my limited space. I had it plugged in for four days straight to test the freezing and refrigeration operations, and to see how much power it draws from my portable generators. It does draw a bit more than a regular 12 volt fridge, but it stayed between the 45-60 watt range during my testing and use. The freezer side stayed frozen and the refrigerated side stayed cold. I’m really impressed and wish I had bought the larger size for greater storage capacity. Comparing it to the Astro AI fridge/freezer I bought first, this is hands down a better investment and works better for me. The size and price are comparable to the Astro AI. I wish I had found this one first The price was good and the shipping was quick. It works well with my portable generators for camping. When the compressor does come on, it’s not too loud. It’s heavier than my Astro AI, but the wheels make it easier to move around. If I could trade up for the larger size, I would. I highly recommend this unit. The thing that would make this 5 stars is having separate doors to open the freezer and fridge individually. One door means the temp drops for both sides, so best not to dawdle when getting food out. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this unit.

Fantastic Refrigerator/Icebox
We do a fair amount of cross-country driving. Usually have a cooler w/us depending on the trip. This trip was a 4 day drive and we had to bring in food supplies and needed to stay frozen. During the trip up, dry ice was particularly hard to find. Regular Ice just didn't keep the meats frozen like we needed. For the return trip, we purchased the Alpicool T60 Fridge/Freezer. Looking at primarily the freezer operation in this case to haul back the fish, meat and vegetables we were bringing home. The Cooler met and exceeded my expectations. When we got it, read thru the instructions and got it cooling down to -10 degrees w/in about 45 min. on AC pwr. If using only as a freezer, it's very easy to operate. To use as a Fridge/Freezer, you place the patrician back in and it splits the operation of the cooler into a Freezer/Fridge operation. You can set each section individually at the temps you want. In our case we only needed the Freezer operation for this trip. Works really well whether on AC power or DC power. Since it didn't have a battery to keep it running at night when we'd stop, we'd roll the cooler into our room and plug it in. Back in the truck, back on DC power. Operationally was great. By the time we got the Cooler home, it had started to develop frost inside the cooler and everything was frozen solid. Had two complaints about it, but not enough of an issue to me to drop a star off the rating. 1. The instructions were not laid out well. The instruction manual had multiple models listed in the manual. Was confusing at first which page was for our unit. Because there was so much info on the pamphlet, the text was small and in my opinion, needed to be re-written to make the instructions more clear & simple. As a Tech minded guy, I knew what they were trying to say, others may have struggled w/it. My suggestion for them is the just have the one pamphlet for the one product only on the sheet. I know it will cost a few more pennies to have multiple instruction pamphlets, but think it would be worth it. 2. Was not impress w/the handles to move the cooler. Yes it had wheels on it, but when you have one of the larger coolers loaded, depending on what you are hauling, the cooler could be 40 to 65 pounds or more. As they coolers get larger, My suggestion would be to add another set of wheels on the other end of the cooler so you could just pull it along. Trying to roll the cooler w/the extended handle they provide, made for a strenuous lean and bend of the back when you go from parking lots to rooms and back. As well, the handle that you use, should be thicker and rounded, maybe even padded. Would fit the hand better. After moving the cooler into my room the first night, I had very red pinch marks on my hands from hauling the cooler to my room. Took a few days for the pinch/bruising to go away. Was it the end of the world, no, just a bit of an annoyment. Moving forward, I'm going to get one of those little collapsable luggage dollies and will be all good. Like I said, my 2 gripes, were just that gripes. Not show stoppers by any mean. Overall though; Fantastic cooler. very pleased with it. Highly recommend it!

great inexpensive versatile multi voltage refrigerator
had it 3 months. i use it daily. i drive a semi and it fits with plenty of room behind passrnger seat. i especially love the handle and wheels. so when i go home i can wheel it out to car and plug it back in. it draws very little power and is quiet. but font put itnin trunk! lol i didvthat on a 100 plus day and itvthrough a overtemp code. was blisteringbhotbin trunk. i also have large sub amplifier back there. it had a minor hiccup. fridge section was dropping to 8 degrees(was set at 35) it was still set at 35 but actual temp was dropping. i figured it had sensor iced over or something so lifted divider with trays and dropped lightly couple times. started climbing back up. i live out of this thing anf make fresh food and store it and am very happy. i had a 1.7cf dorm fridge was large in truck had to bungee door shut and items bounced arounf also drew alot more power and could hear compressor rattling on bumpy rds(which to be honest is all rds in america in a truck lol) it tripped inverter overload couple times guessing compressor shorted. anyways i highly recommend it. i bought an indel which is very nice and reliable but it isnt dual zone and no wheels which sucks when u have to transport it couple hundted ft. if this unit had danfoss compressor it would b perfect. but it might turnnout to be just as reliable. sorry if u are unfortunate to actually have read this whole review lol. #####update year later. This fridge is ok but dont leave unattended for a week itll freeze up. Also doesnt work well in any heat above 85 degrees. I used thermal paint in my trunk then lined with reflektix and felt then cut 4 inch hole in body with fan exhausting into bumper. Still overheats. If in sun overheats if outside in 100 degree in shade with insulation it overheats. I put my indelb fridge in trunk same parameters and it performed excellentlly. I even packed stuff around it and no issues didnt need to blow fan on it or anything. So as car dweller alpicool fails but if you have semi or van and it never gets hot and have adequate ventilation it is ok otherwise just get inverter and use cheap fridge or get dometic indelb arb etc...also itll kill 2 200ah batteries in a week with 50 watt solar and 1 to 3hr a day of car charging (driving) indelb didnt even take 10% with less driving and in shade. 90 to 100 f temps

Great fridge.
I started semi truck driving so found out needed a fridge to avoid using regular ice cooler having soggy food so received fridge about 3 weeks ago as of this review. Purchased 50qt version. What I liked was it had wheels and baskets making it easier to move from my car to semi, can get baskets out while loading fridge to truck then just put baskets back in. I was surprised by the space, I loaded 17 days worth of frozen food in ziploc bags in right side freezer and 18 yogurts and sandwiches on left fridge side and still had plenty of room. Really quiet. I figured I can use for camping also. Wheels are thin, best to use on asphalt don't recommend for rough surfaces. It fits great in a Chevy Sonic back seat. In these weeks it has stood all travel bumps and still running great. Have loaded with drinks and holding up. Initial set up was plug and play, reached desired temp in about 40 min for fridge, freezer took a bit longer. Won't cool both sides at same time, will go back and forth between sides. In some instances you will see temp go bit up from one set but will regulate on it's own again without affecting your food. You need to download app from play store (android in my case) to use bluetooth function, no instructions included. Definetely recommend.
