Finally, a solution that works!
These are great. I've since purchased a second set and will probably purchase at least one more set, maybe two. I read a lot of the reviews about this product before purchasing. I had already tried other similar solutions but without enough light. I purchased these to solve a problem in a hall linen closet. The shelves are deep and we keep business inventory (not linens) in this closet. We're in this closet daily and it has been very hard to see until we installed these lights. I put painter's masking tape over the light sensor because I wanted them to work based on motion sensor. Also, per other reviews, I used 3M Command picture hanging strips (medium size) to mount them. Instant adequate light when we open the doors. Lights go off automatically when there is no motion. My only complaint is that the packaging is hard to get into--but well worth the effort. By the way, who ships products with "batteries included" any more? This company does. If you're trying to solve a unique lighting challenge, these may be a good bet.

The Perfect Under-Cabinet Light
We put these up under our kitchen cabinets because we have a super tiny kitchen with very limited plugs. These are AMAZING. I chose to purchase rechargable batteries from amazon as well and they are perfect for this. I just keep rotating them through and the batteries are so easy to switch out that it never seems like a hassle. Super bright. And I love the motion sensors! They work awesome and are great to have when you want a glass of water in the middle of the night. I wish I had bought these sooner.

Bright Light - But Sensor is Not Consistent
I first saw and bought 2 packs at Costco - (honestly, they were much cheaper at Costco - but I can't seem to find them anymore) for my hallway and closets where there are no way to plug in a light.Pros - These led lights are nice and bright, lights up a wide range, you can control to turn the lights on only when you want/need to - you can have the lights on all the time, or, switch to the motion sensor mode. When my lights went out during Sandy, I used these as my flash lights, and they were great. The motion sensor function helped to give us light when we needed to get up in the middle of the dark night - and not have to fumble around to look for and turn on a flash light - or know that one of our cats have just walked by -Cons - they are not as sensitive as I would like them - a few seconds delay can be annoying when you are expecting lights to go on - also, the little sensors don't all act the same - at least 2 of the 4 strips I have would light up and stay on for a full minute as indicated on the packaging, but the other 1 or 2 would light up for 10-15 senconds then go dark. I tried changing the angles of the sensors or put the whole strip in different positions - didn't help. So, over all I will recommend them, and even my husband who was skeptical in the beginning now wants me to get some more for our other family members.

Perfect for small closets
I love this product! Although it is advertised as use for undercabinet lighting, I use it for my small pantry closet as well as my small linen closets where no lights are provided. It provides plenty of lighting for you to get in and grab what you need and get out. If you're doing a scavenger hunt in your closet than you may need more lighting. But if you're only in there to grab a towel or perhaps quickly search for a particular can of soup, it does great. Love also the fact that it has a motion sensor and only turns on when there is insufficient lighting. Plus, I love the automatic turn-off feature when it senses no motion for couple minutes, it turns itself off. No true waste of battery.I have my unit mounted on the top frame facing down so every time I open the door, the motion sensor detects me, and the lights will turn on. This positioning worked best for me. I also looked into using this for undercabinet lighting in my kitchen, but it does not work too well for the way my kitchen is design. The lights does not distribute itself too well because of my open kitchen concept. I would need more powerful lighting that is supplied by 120V/AC outlet. Nothing battery powered has done too well.I am giving this product 5 stars because it more than meets my needs for lighting in small closets.

Not incredibly impressed by these
For what these cost I expected a light that would work every time. These do not. Sometimes I actually have to touch and shake them for the sensor to pick up on the motion. Plus, there is only one way to mount these, which is permanently by attaching wall anchors to affix the entire fixture to the wall, which renders these not portable. I purchased another style that had a base that affixed to the wall, either permanently or not, and the light bar attached and detached from the mount to make it portable and more usable. These are only okay, not always responsive, which makes them undependable and not effective or efficient. Could only mildly recommend, but I personally will never buy this style again.

Doesn't alway Light
We have one of these in a telephone alcove in the hallway. As long as the batteries are charged (they seem to last a couple of weeks - I use rechargeables) it lights up every time you walk by in darkness of semi darkness. Bought this pair for the pantry hoping for the same reliability. Usually one lights but often you have to waive your hand in front the one that doesn't initially light to get it to work. Given that I also have 2 other similarly unreliable lights (different brand) there is usually enough light overall to be able to see what I'm looking for.
