My sister in law and I both have such great taste. Imagine my surprise when my amazon package arrived, along with the gift she also ordered for my son....I opened both boxes and what do you know--we both bought the exact same thing! We decided to keep both sets bc summer's coming and I can play/explore alongside the toddler.Given the weather, no bugs out yet but that hasn't stopped us from going into the garden almost everyday so he can bury the fake bugs the kit comes with, he'll dig them out, use the tweezers, use the magnify glass, put the fake bugs into the container & "examine" them! I can't wait for warmer weather when our favorite bugs are out and about!

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. Out of all of her gifts, she was the most excited about this one. As happy as it made her I should be rating it 5/5, but my one complaint is the durability. Everything but the binoculars and the bug keeper were of great quality. The mesh on the bug keeper was loose and quickly torn. Overall though, I think this product makes for one very happy kid. The bug net is cool and sturdy, the two compasses are legitimate, the sunglasses and bucket hat are cute, the carrying bag to keep it all in is decent quality, but the tweezers could be better. I love the grabbers with the clear ball on the end, I've used them a few times to catch live crickets for my scorpion. Given the price I would say it's worth the buy.

My son's bug guy outfit with the accompanying fake bug kit was an absolute treasure on our costume day! The outfit itself fit him comfortably and held up to the enthusiastic play of a curious little adventurer. The bug kit was a stroke of genius, giving him endless fun pretending to catch and study his colorful critters. The delight in his eyes as he engaged with his new 'specimens' was priceless. Not only did it complement my butterfly costume perfectly, but it also sparked his imagination in the most charming way. My son picked this out. He's 3. We got it, it was a small box, I was confused, but it came with some bugs, the specimen container is collapsible, the binoculars are great, the whistle has a compass on it. I can never get him to wear hats, and he would not take this hat off! He absolutely loves it! He tossed the plastic bugs around the living room and then went to find them and caught them with his net and bug scooper thing! We can't wait to use this outdoors! (We received it almost 8:00 pm, a little too late to go outside looking for bugs as we were getting ready for bed).

Purchased two, one for each of my kids so they wouldn’t fight and unfortunately one box is missing an item and the other box the tongs are broken so I either have to return both sets and hope the next set comes complete and unbroken or I have to hide or throw away the problem parts. The stuff was all crammed inside a too small box so I’m not surprised some thing was broken. It’s a cute set but quality and packaging was disappointing.

My young nephew love this out of all the gifts he got for his birthday. I was the favorite aunt.

Great quality, a good range of things for the kids to catch bugs and inspect them. Love that it has a bag that they can carry everything around in. Easy for them to use and open everything.
