A tasty fish fillet, in a light batter.
A tasty fish fillet.Not what you would call large, but probably OK for most people.It says the weight is 270g on the box, but each of my fillets weigh in at 160g each, so a total of 320g. Not that I'm complaining.The fish itself is Alaskan Pollock, a white fish. Taste wise, it's fairly indistinguishable from cod when battered like this.The batter itself, is a thin tempura. This is a much lighter, thinner batter than what you would find on a fish shop bought fillet.It complements the thin fillet very well.It does contain wheat, so isn't suitable if you're gluten intolerant.It also contains mustard, not that you will taste it, but some people do have an allergy to it.Overall, this is a very tasty, medium sized fillet, perfect with chips or new potatoes.I hope you found this review helpful.
