I was able to grow Shittake fungus on these with minimal pasteurization and sterile precautions
You can probably buy wood pellets for heating cheaper, but these worked perfectly for growing Shiitake. I only had to use hot water from the stove to pasteurize them. I inoculated them in a bathroom sprayed with Lysol. I had 100 percent success and no contamination

Great product. Great company.
Reishi love the oak. The seller had this on its way immediately. It came very well packaged with no chance of It being damaged or torn open accidentally during shipping.

Overpriced and unclear description
I know it was my fault for not reading the entire description, but I was expecting a 20lb bag and got a tiny 10lb bag. The size in not clearly written and you have to go down to the product description in order to see the size. That said the 10lb bag on Amazon is $2.50 more than on the manufactures website and both have free shipping. Even on the manufactures site a 20lb bag is $5~$7 more expensive than other oat pellet makers.

Makes great substrate
Both the oak and straw pellets are easy to use and did a great job creating substrate on the very first try.

Yep
It is indeed 10lbs. Hope the shiitake dig this substrate:)
