These rock!
Bought two sets for my home gym. Pre-Cov I started a home gym during our build in 2018. Found some DBs on liquidation at that time (5-90 in 5lb increments, 100, 110, 120, 130). I always wanted the 95s/105s/115s…and this solved that problem for less than a single 95. Sooner than dump 1500 on those 4 sets spent 100 on these and used the saved money for a C2 Rower and a prowler.

Solid
We bought these to add some change-weight flexibility to our home gym - we use mostly KB. I am impressed by the magnet strength on these. I'm not worried one is going to go flying through my wall during a workout. Highly recommend for anyone using KB or DB and needing some intermediary weights. Very happy with this purchase.

Sent me to the emergency room
In all fairness I used these plates multiple times without incident. However, the issue resulted with me getting 3 stitches and a $700 ER bill. I was using these magnetic plates on a non-coated dumbbell doing one arm dumbbell bench press. While in the extended position one of the plates slipped off hit me in the forehead. Since that incident the plate will not stay attached.

Works with Powerblock u90's
Despite some posts to the contrary, these do work with my Powerblock urethane dumbells, the magnets are strong enough to work through the coating. Much easier and quicker than changing the internal weights in the Powerblocks. If you do any kind of swinging/kettleblock type exercises with them, they probably wouldn't stay on (at least with the urethanes).Bottom line, these are great. Also 5 stars to Real Steel. Harvey is a class guy who I've dealt with in the past.

Nice!
I also bought the 1.25 lbs magnetic weights. Very well worth the money if you want to make continuous improvement in strength. Dumbells in most gyms go up by 5 lb increments, which is often too much of an increase for your target muscle to bear, which in turn makes you hit a plateau. These magnetic weight help you bust through those plateaus. Nice!

Convenient. Saves time in the gym. Exactly as advertised
When I was shopping for these, I didn't feel like the physical dimensions that I wanted were readily available. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are relatively thin. I use them on a lifting machine's weight stacks. They are thin enough that they "miss" hitting the shield that covers every weight stack I've run across so far. I will say that the magnets are very strong, which is a good thing; they are not going to fall off in a metal-on-metal situation. But be careful that you don't have any skin between the add-on plate and the metal to which you're adding weight; they can snap together very quickly.

Exactly what I expected
Great quality. I didn't realize they were shipped to my mailbox and I emailed customer service when I received the notification they were delivered. Customer service responded right away. I will be purchasing again.
