Excellent high quality and very sharp - will last many years
Excellent very sharp knife. Great for cutting tomatoes and onions. My previous Zwilling 5-inch knife was losing its edge after 20 years. I took it to a guy that sharpens knives but he ruined it. No worries I bought another one and expect it will serve me well just like the last one. Very high quality. Don’t hesitate this is worth every penny.

The best knives in the kitchen.
The Zwilling knives are the finest kitchen knives available. With over 40 years of knife collecting, there are some knives that actually live upto their hype, and these do. The first time you run one across a steel, you will recognize a different sound. You can pay a lot more for knives with gimmicks. You don't replace these.

Fantastic brand
I had received a block of these knives in 1996. Just this week, the handle partially broke off my 5" utility knife. I ordered open box. Such a good deal and the knife is new. Hopefully this replacement will last another 29 years.

Best knife EVER!
I bought this knife 6 years ago at Macys. Used it multiple times everyday. Still sharp. Then, oh, great sadness. It was nowhere to be found. I feared that it had gone out with the trash, and after 36 hours without, I ordered a replacement, kicking in the extra for one-item next day prime delivery. Remarkably, the new knife worked just like the one that was 6 years old. Or rather, the 6 year old knife had been as good as new. Then, joy of joys! My husband found the old knife tucked in a random drawer. This is the best knife, for anything with a thin skin like a tomato or bell pepper. Also great for starting things like onions, when the fancy chef's knife or santoku needs sharpening - WHICH THIS NEVER DOES!. Great for slicing crusty bread, although it is a little short for a lot of loaves. Also makes the best steak knife, cuts really nicely across the grain, without shredding like a lot of serrated knives do. When I travel and stay in a "furnished" apartment, I always bring this knife, a little cutting board, and my all-clad 10 inch frying pan. I have a lot of very nice and expensive knives, but this is always what I reach for first.
