The Blue Yeti is a great a option for anyone who just wants to plug in and play without spending hours tweaking audio settings. On the back, you have a knob that allows you to directly control the mic's gain. Beneath the gain dial is the real crown jewel of this mic: a multipattern selector switch with four recording modes. Like the Snowball, you have an omnidirectional mode, for picking up sound from all directions, and a cardioid pattern, for focusing on sound directly in front of mic. Because the Yeti uses a unique, three-capsule design (instead of the two included on the Snowball or the single capsule used by most other microphones), the microphone offers two more recording patterns: a stereo mode, and a bidirectional mode that pulls sound from directly in front or behind the mic.

Works well
I'm not very overwhelmed and I just wanted to own it because it has been recommended to me everywhere but it didn't really got me what I actually expected. I wish there was more to toggle on sensitivity and customize to make my own sound crispier with no background noise at all. But maybe I'm just uneducated about the values and need to figure it out, in that case - the ui and usage should be made easier for a layman to be understanding the settings better. Although the quality and everything about mic itself is top notch. It's easy to install, easy to use and provides good quality to record voice. Abit expensive for what it's worth. I do like all the features provides on customisation app for the mic. I do recommend for starters.

Bro... Just go for it. This mic can even record sound of a flying fly. Easy to implement, reasonable price and weight. Looks pro!

Mic is good but the cable is bad. Highly sensitive!
The mic is highly sensitive and can record even tiny noise that is happening far away. You might have to adjust gain and mic volume but these adjustments can get Irksome. The voice quality is the best. There it beats all the mics. The cable is the big issue. The cable doesn't go completely in. So sometimes the mic gets automatically disconnected. That can waste effort. Overall the product is worth buying if you can create a good noise-less environment.
